COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

(can - 12 oz) Hazy golden pour with a puffy white head. Very mild spice aroma with incredibly light hints of lemon and floral hops. Different from any other witbier. No coriander or orange in this one. Flavor is earthy lemon with no sweetness. Dry and slightly bitter with some tart lemon at the finish. Different and alright.

Pours hazy gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma seems a mix of fruit and ginger and same goes for taste. I think it would be better without the ginger, which I didn’t lite. Otherwise pretty decent.

Pours a straw-golden color with a giant, smooth, white head. Tar, fruit, and beef jerky on the nose. More fruity and spicy flavor, but the far persists.

12 oz bottle. Shared by Huhzubendah. Thanks Matt! Pours a hazy and pale yellow with a soapy white head. The aroma brings earthy hops, floral notes, lemongrass. Some nice citrus and pepper in the flavor. Coriander and orange zest. Really drinkable. Complex and intriguing but also something you could gulp straight from the can on a spring day. Solid.

On tap at High Cotton. It poured a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma was of Belgian yeast, peppery esters, wheat and some lemon. The taste was similar with lemon and more yeast. Decent.

Can in Hilton Head. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have lemony citrus, sweeter lemon candy notes, wheat malts, hay, mild spices favoring ginger. Refreshing summer type beer.

Grabbed sixes to share. Pours hazy gold with sudsy white head. Nose is citrus and spice. Tastes of sharp lemon, ginger, coriander, grassy, and bubblegum. Crisp palate hint of heat.

Pours cloudy straw color with slight white head. Aroma is of spices and heavy yeast esters. Flavor is relatively well-rounded, emphasizing more on the spices than the hoppy citrus. Enjoyable Summer session beer.

Pours golden with a two-finger white head. Pretty foamy. Aromas of citrus peels, flowers, slight spice and cereal. Taste is a bit bland. I get some spice in with the orange peel...which leads to some bitterness in the back-end. But, maybe it’s just the full-body on this puts me off? Not a bad beer, but just not one I would seek out again.

Draft. Light perfume in the nose. Pour is a hazy dark yellow with medium sized white head. Laces well. Taste is initially all wheat with a full mouthfeel. Finishes with a faint peppery note. Not really much of a witbier by the spicing but a very enjoyable beer. A touch full in the mouthfeel but that’s kinda par for the course with these unmalted wheat beers.
