3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a beautiful pale golden yellow with a thick, pillowy, white head. Aroma is slightly yeasty, roasted nuts, faint hints of spice, ginger, and lemongrass. Flavor is has a nice solid sweet malt presence, hints of spices linger after the sweetness fades away. Overall the flavor is pretty mild yet pleasant. Nothing really sticks out. It’s definitely an interesting take on the style.
Another solid summertime beer from Westbrook. Between this, One Claw, and Gose; Westbrook is without a doubt going to be a mainstay in my frig this summer.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

12oz can in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of light spices, some pale malts and wheat, hints of lemongrass and ginger, and some light citrusy/floral hops. Flavor the same with a cool blend. Average texture. An interesting beer.

On draft at Edmund’s Oast. Poured a cloudy orange with thick fluffy head. Banana, orange peel, coriander, pepper all present. A funky yeasty finish. Refreshing. Underrated.

A Belgian white is a good thing for sure, but this is not the best Belgian white. That does not mean it is bad. However, compared to other offerings there is much better. To make a Belgium white inspired by Asian cuisine....just don’t.

Had thanks to my boy Weezel. Drank straight from the can, so didn’t get a good look a the color. Aroma is real strong of spice. Lemon came out most in taste. Not my style but a good beer none the less.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can at home. Pour is like a glass full of honeycomb with a frothy white head and great lacing. Coriander, basil, honey, lightly floral, grasssy, doughy, biscuit, and oranges in the aroma. Taste is spicy hoppy, lemongrass, biscuit, lemon peel, earthy honey, basil, coriander, and white pepper with a spicy finish. Full mouthfeel with high carbonation. This is a solid Belgian Wit. Everything I have had from this brewery has been on point.
