3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Surprising after reading the description printed in the can. Tried it with seafood at Waters Edge right down the road from the brewery and despite the use of Asian spices, it was very much like a Belgian White and paired well with my flounder.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into a 5oz sampler. Some of the more traditional banana and clove aromas are present as well as lemon and lemon peel (and/or lemongrass), but there’s also a spicy pepper and ginger. It pours a very muddy and murky banana yellow color with a white head that reduced to a medium, fluffy ring with a splotchy surface coverage. An average lace is left behind. It’s a medium bitter taste with a dry medium/medium-light sweetness and a touch of spiciness. The texture is on the thin side with a zippy carbonation and a medium light, dry body. It finishes with a pepper and coriander quality, and some lemon zest. The aftertaste is wheat and pepper. A well blended spicy kick flavor - enough to be noticeable without sticking out like a sore thumb.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 Orange hazy pour with crazy long head retention. Smell is wheat, lemon. Taste smooth wheat, faint bitterness of rind. Somewhat typical witbier yeast taste and no ginger coming through. Creamy body, light carbonation. Tau

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cloudy pale golden colour, white head. Really nice floral, spicy aroma with banana, lemon. Medium, refreshing palate. Yeasty and quite hoppy dusty flavour with some spices, mostly ginger, and lemon. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Based on the name and description, I thought this would be horrible and loaded with spice garbage but it is actually OK. I guess I would call it a Belgian pale ale or a wit. It is cloudy yellow in color w/ a long-lasting head of mixed bubbles. It has a dusty floral nose w/ a bit of melon. It is very light up front but gets more and more of a banana character as it warms. This is a light bodied beer with creamy carbonation and finishes w/ a firm, earthy biterness. I didn’t think much of this at first but it really grew on me.

A nice average wit beer which is not worth the cost. Slight tai tea flavor easy drinking kind of boring.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(can - 12 oz) Hazy golden pour with a puffy white head. Very mild spice aroma with incredibly light hints of lemon and floral hops. Different from any other witbier. No coriander or orange in this one. Flavor is earthy lemon with no sweetness. Dry and slightly bitter with some tart lemon at the finish. Different and alright.
