COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

[Can (12oz)] Pours a slightly hazy gold with a huge lasting fluffy white head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat and banana first followed by yeast, light spices, some herbs and a hint of ginger. Refreshing flavour of citrus fruit, herbs, yeast, some ginger and hops in the finish. Medium bodied. A pleasant version of the style.

A simple witbier. Would prefer it with food or something like that. Drink on can. Some lemon taste/aroma

Draft - Lemon grass, coriander and Belgian yeast. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Wheat, light citrus, coriander and the ginger makes a play here. I don’t think I like the ginger in this beer.

Smells of lemongrass, Belgian yeast and banana. Cloudy but bright yellow. Taste is sharp lemon, clove, allspice, and bubbly mineral water. Mouthfeel is smooth with a nice amount of viscosity.

Pours a beautiful pale golden yellow with a thick, pillowy, white head. Aroma is slightly yeasty, roasted nuts, faint hints of spice, ginger, and lemongrass. Flavor is has a nice solid sweet malt presence, hints of spices linger after the sweetness fades away. Overall the flavor is pretty mild yet pleasant. Nothing really sticks out. It’s definitely an interesting take on the style. Another solid summertime beer from Westbrook. Between this, One Claw, and Gose; Westbrook is without a doubt going to be a mainstay in my frig this summer.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of light spices, some pale malts and wheat, hints of lemongrass and ginger, and some light citrusy/floral hops. Flavor the same with a cool blend. Average texture. An interesting beer.

On draft at Edmund’s Oast. Poured a cloudy orange with thick fluffy head. Banana, orange peel, coriander, pepper all present. A funky yeasty finish. Refreshing. Underrated.

Can at home. High creamy and long lasting, good looking white head. hazy, milky orange body. Mild and dusty hay wheat aroma with weak notes of lemon. Pretty sweet and mild lemon flavor with a nice finish of ginger. Low carbonation. Short finish.
