3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz can. Pours hazy straw yellow with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is wheat malts, funky fruit and spices (ginger and others).
The flavor is wheat malts with some funk and some spicy fruit in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an interesting wit - I like the Thai spices.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yellow golden body and stable head. Pale malts, herbal hops, refined buy simple general aroma. Taste is very nice, good body, but honestly the aroma is too unimaginative for my expectations. Drinks very well but not sure what I’ve got here, besides an American Pale Ale with general hop mixture. (33cl can from Bière Révolution)

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Belgian-style witbier from a brewery following the new American trend of selling craft ales in cans. Spiced with lemon grass and ginger, a welcome variation on the eternal coriander and curaçao, and equally atypically hopped with Sorachi Ace. Snow white, thin but stable head, hazy pale ochre blonde colour. Very pleasantly perfumed aroma of wheat, soap, ginger, limoncello, honey, gingerbread, banana liqueur, apricot, mango. Fruity onset with citrus zest touch, sweetish honeyish malts paired with a refreshing wheat sourishness and ending in a dry, sourish but also remarkably hop bitter finish. Very American interpretation of the style and quite enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. 9/11/14. Pours hazy straw-gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is spicy, Belgian yeast, banana, bubblegum, earthy, crisp, ginger, candi sugar. Taste is citrus, lemongrass, crisp, spicy,, sweet, very clean, leafy, hint of fruit rind, coriander; finish is very brief, citrus, lemongrass, ginger. Think but consistent lacing throughout. Medium-light bodied. Medium carbonation. I like this a lot more than I expected I would.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of banana, chili pepper capsaicin, a savory cummin like spice, and some pepper. Appears very bubbly yellowish hazy gold, white foam, white lace. Tastes very balanced of mild banana sweetness and mild hay like bitterness, there is a savoriness that is nearly hidden in the background. Palate is fizzy and nice. Overall, nice, but not crazy different from a standard white Belgian.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Super bubbly. Very foamy with some white lace. Dark yellow/gold. Belgian nose of some candi sugar, mostly yeast and a surprising bit of pepper. Full body. Banana, bubblegum, some lemon, some harsher spice (in a good way). A bit of heat. Didn’t get a tremendous amount of SE Asia character.

Draft at Prohibition. Hazy yellow/orange with a white head. Excellent lacing. Aromas are lemon, citrus, grass. Heavy on the lemon taste, ginger is definitely there. Good but the finish is soapy.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is wheat and spice. Taste is the same. Nice taste, though I prefer more of a citrus taste in Witbier.

can pour..medium yellow light orange color..produces 1 finger frothy head..nose of dried ginger..spice combo..some lemon..mouthfeel is quite unique and good..fairly light bodied with some nice lingering pleasant passionfruit candy coating that is not overly sweet but has nuances of the ginger..lemongrass..pretty tasty stuff..quite reminiscent of taste profiles from allagash white mixed with brooklyn sorachi ace...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl can courtesy of embrouille, danke! Pours a soggy & hazy yellow, dissipating soapy head. Less fragrant than expected given the ingredients: some heavy coriander, older peel and grapey sweetness - not all that much of a Wit yeast strain freshness, more like an Asian/Arabic fusion rice dish, incorporating kurkuma and ginger. Taste sees all that plus some elegant vegetal/citrus bitterness and spice from the lemon grass and Sorachi. Bit of an overload, overall not as refreshing or summery as you’d anticipate going by label & list of ingredients.
