COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

Keg @ CBC Islington. The pour’s a deep hazy gold color with a small head. The nose is spiced tea, spruce, a bit of lemon and ginger, cinnamon. Sweet lemony sorachi ace. The taste is sweet lemon cake. Ginger ale. More candy and bubblegum. Crisp, but quite sweet. Light body, fine carbonation. OK.

Yellow hazy pour w/ small white head - good lacing. Aromas of ginger, citrus, yeast and citrus. Light bodied but smooth. low end carbonation, but lively. Sweet citrus, sugar and a touch of ginger/perpper spice notes. This beer is greater than the sum of its parts. Nothing wowed me individually, but but it’s a great summer beer.

Can at the Euston Tap. It pours hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is herbal, aniseed, fennel, spice, citrus and wheat . The taste is earthy, wheat, bitter-sweet, tangy orange peel, coriander, aniseed and spice with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. Ok, but not loving the Sorachi Ace action (as per usual).

Discrete oriental notes in the aroma and taste, along with spice, fruits and (of course!) wheatiness. A light, refreshing witbier - with acertain understated elegance. Perfect for summer drinking. (Draft, in The Local Pub, Greece.)

Can provided by GT2. Thanks! Poured a very hazy yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma was light malts, sweetness, plenty of spices, citrus. Slightly earthy hop notes. Malts, sweet. Bit too much yeast.

Very nice yellow cloudy body with a firm foam head that after some time leaves a trail on the glass. Smells of lemon tree flower and lemon fruit, yeast and bread. Tastes more of yeast and lemon flowers and grass. Leaves a discreet yeasty after taste. Very decent wit!

Can. Vibrant cloudy golden beer with a strong but soon disappearing airy head. The aroma is lightly citrus and yeasty, and the flavour has dryness and quite a good degree of citrus fruitiness and yeastiness. Overall a nice fruity dry witbier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[5/5/13] Draught at Mikkeler & Friends in Copenhagen. Cloudy orange. Aroma of wheat, coriander and a bit of citrus. Sweetish wheaty flavor with some fruitiness and a spicy finish with citric notes. Medium-bodied,
