COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

From 12 ounce can purchased at Growlers in Hilton Head Island SC and tasted on July 12, 2012. Cloudy orange/yellow hue, small white head, strong sweet and spicy aroma, moderate to strong sweet/spicy/citrus flavor that is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style, just like it promises on the can. Interesting brew.

At a tasting, many thanks, smallish creamy head, hazy very light orange color, spicy slightly woody aroma, lemony spicy melange aroma with some wheat, light to medium bitterness. Easy ro drink and quite good but not too complex.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/3/2016. Pours fairly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, orange, ginger, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, ginger, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, ginger, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero alcohol warming as expected of 5%. Overall this is a great witbier. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Can - One month over MHD - Clear golden color. Not many flavors, propably because its overdue. Malty, bit yeasty, like a Belgian Ale. Faint aromas of vanilla and lemongras. Crisp and freh. Unspectacular.

Can poured a clear gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, coriander, citrus and light ginger. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, coriander, ginger, light yeast and light citrus with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Pours a cloudy yellow. Aromas of citrus and spice. Flavor wasn’t too Wit, White beers aren’t high on my list. But this one wasn’t that bad, had a little more of a crisp spicy bite to it.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is some lemongrass and spicy hops. Flavor is lemongrass with an almost vanilla like creaminess. Finish is fleeting and almost leaves nothing after the swallow. I’m thinking they could have used a bit of coriander and orange peel to spice this up a bit. It is ok but nothing special.

Pours a hazy, light yellow. Aroma is spicy, slightly sweet, citrus. Spice hits your tongue - ginger, mainly, and then some citrus. Mouthfeel is pleasant, full and crips. A refreshing wit.

On tap at Cosmos Restaurant. Nice aroma of fresh citrus, lemon, and some spices (ginger?) Nice straw appearance with a white head. Sweet wheat up front. Nice light spices mingle in between. Fresh lemon. Bitterness is light and balances nicely. Refreshing finish...nice.
