4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 77ships (2162) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - NOV 6, 2012

The Thai spices are evident up front, lots of lemongrass and ginger. Flavor blends the spices and base beer seamlessly. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Defreni (2050) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2012

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2012 Location: 12 oz can from Charleston Beer Exchange, 12/8/12
Aroma: The nose has some wheat, some ginger, other spices, tropical fruity notes, and lemongrass
Appearance: It pours a completely clouded golden color with a bright white head and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is a little sweet, with some nice spice, hop bitterness, and a lemongrass finish
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth feel, some tingle, spice, and a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression:
This one seemed to be pretty well made. I really enjoyed trying it. From what I have found, these couple of Westbrook beers show me that they make some of the best local offering in the Charleston beer scene.

Welcome to Atlanta Westbrook. Love this brewery. Hazy golden pour with little head, light lace. Aroma was slightly spicy, earthy and aromatic. Bits of yeast and bready malt too. Light notes of lemon. Flavors had a touch of spice, yeast, lemon. Earthy dry finish. Carbonation light, mouthfeel somewhat velvety and smooth. Very good.
