COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Smell is of wheat and spice. Taste is lemons, wheat, a bit of ginger. Overall a unique and pretty good beer.

For some reason I grabbed this. Well good and legal to quaff poolside. Spicy in nose and taste. Taste dominated by clove. Not bad actually especially on a hot lazy day.

Six pack of cans from Oliver’s in Albany. Poured into a tulip. A slightly hazy light honey color brew with a frothy white head. Nice yeasty-citrus aromas - almost saison-like. Flavor is quite refreshing and a lot more interesting that your normal witbeer. Nice hop profile, with just enough bitterness. Light spicy-citrus finish.

Can from Greek e-shop Very clear golden color with small to medium white head. Nose is fruity yeast esters and light phenols(hints of clove), herbal lemony and spicy. Taste is sweet candied lemon peel, a bit tart, nice herbal-spicy lemony(ginger?), a general lemony feeling, not too complicated, some grainy malts too. A bit light bodied not much of an aftertaste, just citrucy-hoppy in general and light carbonation. Nice light tasted, ballanced summer brew but not anything special.

I appreciate the slight heat coming from this, but without the barfy flavors I’ve experienced from jalapeño-brews.

Can pour slight hazy lemon gold with moderate white head. Nose tart lemon, clove and spices. Initial tart bite, mild citrus, and moderate spice from the nose. Later palate grainy malt. Flavors seem a little watered down.

Pretty nice wit beer with notes of yeast, some hops in the end and the quite interesting sensations of lemon grass and especially ginger. Not mind blowing but refreshing and pretty good.

Draft sample. Pours a murky straw color and no head. Aromas of straw, funk, and bitter fruits. Flavor follows the nose and is honestly a pretty typical belgian white. Might just be my tastes, but they all taste the same to me. body was light and texture was thin. Carbonation was fizzy on the tongue and had a bitterness to finish.

Single from taps. Spice aroma. A bit of cinnamon and tea. Light orange color. White frothy head. Flavor is cinnamon and baked bread. Banana. Finish is spicey again. Wheat hefe sort of beer with a little extra spice.

Can. Hazy amber, airy white head. Wheaty, yeasty aroma. Fluffy, creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty and yeasty flavour, malt and light spice. Slightly watery finish.
