COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

Yellow-orange color with white head. Aroma is lemongrass, coriander, and that sorachi ace dill, also bananas. Taste is dough, lemongrass, some ginger, quite spicy. A Wit that is different in a lovely way without being overpowered. Lively carbonation, but not too aggressive. Lemon candy aftertaste. Great refresher!

Pikáns illatú búzasör kerek gabonás aromákkal, szalmás, citromfüves illatokkal. Kissé száraznak ható, éles körvonalú teste üde fűszeresség könnyed súlyát hordozza magán, jólesően búzás alaphangok, csipetnyi marcipán, mandula jegyeivel megkoronázva.

Good wit that doesn't have the same old taste. Slight hop and some bitterness. I enjoyed the lemongrass taste and it played well with the wheat flavors.

Draft (Craftsmen, Charleston SC, May 2015). Head is mostly lasting. Body is cloudy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of lemongrass, ginger, coriander. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. This is very spice-centric and doesn’t offer much wrt the base beer. Had no idea what spices were used when taking notes (being a draft sample and all), a testament to just how prominent and obvious the lemongrass and ginger are...I like both of those spices but there’s not much else going on in this.
