Cask @ Charlies Bar, Cph.
Clear nutty amber with a small, nice, staying, creamy, yellowish head. Mild fat aroma, light berries and grass, good caramel. Medium carbonation, nice creamy and rather dry mouthfeel. Flavour is very nice, nuts, biscuits, dark chocolate and caramel. Light toasted, some tartish liqourice and berries. Reminds me of a very dry Fullers 1845. Lovely.

Scopey (11797) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2011
Gravity at the Grape and Grain Spring Beer Festival 2011. It pours amber with low carbonation and a thin off-white head. The nose is wood, dark fruit and berries and caramel. The taste is oak, varnish, vanilla, red berries, apricot, lemon peel and parma violets, with a boozy, wood finish. Decent old-style strong ale.

[5/12/12] Cask at Charlie’s Bar in Copenhagen. Clear amber. Earthy hops aroma with some somewhat toasty malt. Flavor has some mellow maltiness, a bit bready and toasty, with a bit of sweetness at first, but quickly turns bitter and hoppy, earthy and citric, to create a mouth-drying finish. Silky mouthfeel. Very nice.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense St Albans BF 2010. An amber coloured beer with off-white wisps of head. A fruity aroma with berries and wood. Fruity malts in the mouth. A nice old fashioned stronger English ale which is nicely boozy.

Cask handpull, SIBA Champions’ Fest 09. Aroma mint sauce, meat stock, jellied red fruit, wood and sweat. That’s what my semi-legible scribblings say, anyway. Had about 20 after hours halves lined up by this stage like a mad scientist, and things were starting to get a bit...shabby. Rummy wood notes, chew of raisin, light body, hint of aniseedy spice maybe. Dryish hop finish. Odd but enjoyable.
