Cask @ 3 Judges. Amber colour, off-white head. Nose is light malted, caramel, a bit fruity. Flavour is malty, caramel, fruits, light hopped.

Cask. Pours a clear, dark amber with a small off-white head. Medium-bodied, low carbonation with a velvety mouthfeel, a little burned caramel and nuts with a hoppy finish and a slight touch of roast. 011011

Cask at Charlies. Clear orange-red coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, grass and hops with notes of grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Amber with a tight cream head and a fruity aroma - nothing like the brewer’s description. The flavour is muted fruits with nutty carmael malts, followed by a light, dry, biscuity finish. Pleasant enough, but not worth a second glass.

Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, roasted, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grass, pine, dusty, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101229]

Cask - The White Horse, Parson’s Green, London. Poured a clear, deep amber-chestnut brown with a medium sized & lasting, bubbly beige head leaving a uniform lace. Lovely malt profile. Sweet, juicy red berries lie beneath toasty, nutty, cakey & almost choccy malts backed by dryer English hop notes. Well balanced on the tongue. Sweet caramel, full biscuity and toasted malt flavours leading to a dry, grassy English hop bitterness. Soft mouthfeel, medium body with a good length finish. A full, rounded and very drinkable bitter.

Cask @ Dartmouth Arms, Tufnell Park NW5. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

Draught at The Goldhawk, Shepherds Bush - 6/11/10. Chestnut coloured beer. Caramel in the nose. Nutty taste followed by toffee or caramel on the palate.

Cask Handpump at the Dartmouth Arms, Kentish Town 01/08/2010 Fruity aroma. Amber coloured fruity and a little sour. Slightly hoppy with a hint of roast malt, dryness and bitterness in the finish.

Cask. A brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of nuts, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and butter lending it a sharp edge.
