Bottle bought from Waitrose. Golden with some hoppiness. Some maltiness with other subtle flavour appearing. Nearly but not quite a good bitter.

Bottle. Deep orange colour. Yeasty aroma. Sweet, thick, with a weird off fruit sourness, almost cidery. Just not a good beer at all.

Cask at The Railway in Putney during "Spoons Fest in a Day" crawl, 2nd Nov 08. Amber with a slightly skunky smell. Soft malt flavour but rather forgettable alas.

DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2008
Bottle thanks to Jenners Snr. Dusty bronze thick with haze. Tired marzipan, oxidised/caramelised notes, dull malts. Buttered cherry aroma, hint of coffee, musty Fuggles. Swirl of froth. Caramel, marzipan, no real hop presence. Demolished by the Hampshire. So tedious.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pale orange colour with a slight white head. Aroma of sweet biscuit malt and oranges. Flavour of citrus fruit, cereal malts and earthy hopps with a short bitter finish. Ok, if a bit subdued.

thewolf (9882) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2008
Bottle @ Chris_o’s Pre-Beer Exposed Tasting, September 2008.
Pours a pretty, clear golden with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma is very malty, som cucumber notes and doughiness. A bit weak mouthfeel, too high carbonation. Flavour is softly malty, light hopped. Quite dull.

Bottle. Fruity, bitter aroma. Clear copper colour which leaves a thin lace. Caramel flavour and smooth texture. A little done overall. A bit grassy and tangy towards the end.

500 ml. bottle. Pours copper amber color with a good white head. Something of floral hop overlaying light caramel for flavor. Medium body with near sharp, but creamy, carbonation. Ale turns bitter and bready. Develops more powerful flavors as consumption continues. Pretty dry and bitter finish.
