This American-style Pale Ale is made from Northwest malts and hops; medium to full-bodied with a great mouthfeel. Chinook and Cascade hops give this ale and outstanding citrus, spicy character.

2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
5-6 ounce sample from the brewpub. Very light pine aroma, that is really faint. Not much happening in the nose. Mildly hazy golden orange body with a smallish white head. Some piney, grapefruity "C" hops are present to start. A little caramel in the middle before the spicy/piney hop flavors kick in to finish. A good beer, but the aroma is disappointingly lacking. Wish this stuff had more aroma!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a white head. Light malt and hop aromas. Flavor is mildly roast malt with bitter - but citrus? pine? A light APA.
