On cask at New Bazaar, Dumfries. Pours amber with white head. Fruity first hit, then average dull beer. Not good.

Cask @ Warwick Arms. Mid gold, there’s a definite Greene-kingyness about it, either lemongrass or dishwashing detergent, haven’t quite decided. Drinkable. Just.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale chestnut with a tight cream head; citrus aroma; creamy in the mouth with some light citrus and stale malts; and a dry biscuity finish with not a hop in sight. Under whelming.

Pint, from the cask.
A: Bronze, copper, clear, small taned head, some retention.
S: Floral, had to think of Saaz hops.
T: Phenol, berries on the turn, finish slightly bitter and wheaty. Like some other Greene King beers it reminded me of a Belgian Pale Ale.
M: Smooth, light body.
O: Lots of depth for a bitter, very decent.

Cask by handpump at The Doublet, Glasgow - clear golden, creamy off-white head, weak resinous malty aroma, good lacing, sweet, honey, hint of resin, creamy texture, refreshing, served just a bit cold

Cask. Westgate Ale Fresco. Golden pour with a thick white creamy top. Fresh hoppy nose with light lemons and some wheatiness. Taste is instantly sweet and wheaty - nice and fresh. There's a light lemon and grass hop. Finish is sharp and bitter. Very decent drinking ale.

Gravity dispense at the Quins Head, Twickenham Stoop, 04/05/13 during half time of Quins v Northampton. 22-19 Quins FT.
Clear golden amber with a thin white head.
Nose carries the unmistakable waft of good ole GK yeast, darker malts, toffee, orchard fruits.
Taste comprises toffee apple, malt, GK yeast, light hops in the background, straw, hints of citrus.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish.
Drinkable but boring as one comes to expect with GK seasonals!
