Cask handpull at The County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Mid gold body with a lasting off white head. Some rose petal and yeast on aroma. Sweet in mouth with some biscuit. Good condition. Sweet rose petal. Faint dryness on end. But mostly very sweet digestive biscuit

Cask@Le Moulin de Lecq, Jersey
Orange-copper color, creamy off-white head. A bit sticky vinegardish, woody nose with hints of caramel. Soft palate. A bit malty, then slightly sweet and hoppy flavor. Lingering leafy notes.

Cask, at the Dirty Duck, Stratford-upon-Avon. Label at the pump says, with citrus tones. That’s right, citrus aroma. Light amber. Refreshing beer, hoppy. Reasonable bitter, dry finish.

Hand pulled cask at the Moon and Sixpence (JDW) Hatch End. Gold with a lively white head in very fresh condition. If they had the guts to use the parent company name for this World Cup beer, I would have given it a few extra marks, for in all honesty it’s quite a decent brew. Well balanced with pleasent citrus hop character. I even drank a second pint!

BeerViking (2321) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2010
Cask at the Sir Michael Balcon (JDW), Ealing. Dark gold with malt and a little orange and honey on the nose. Good bitter tang with dry biscuity malt and a longish orange-honey-bitter finish.

SilkTork (5181) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2010
JDW, Rochester. Creamy and caramel. Soft and drinkable, low hops. Not much happening really, but not offensive in any way.

Bullit (3975) - Burgos, SPAIN - JUN 26, 2010
Cask @ Standing Order, JDW. Glass raised to the Dutch team, that they may fare well during the tournament. Clear golden colour, sparkling white head. Aroma is light malty. Flavour is light malty, citrus, sour fruits.

DruncanVeasey (7112) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2010
The Felix Holt (JDW), Nuneaton. Clean orange-gold with a fine white collar. Good musky fresh citrus hop aroma with passion fruit and honey. Soft and a bit corny; hops don’t really emerge beyond the aroma; cream and pencil shavings, some stale orange. Half-decent offering from the....ahem, ’Westgate Brewery’.

Cask conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton. Well, well, well, this was rather nice. Golden coloured with a whitish head. Good citric hops throughout. Oranges and grapefruit notes. A bit of lime jelly too in the mouth. Really tasty and surprisingly well crafted.
