MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Jul 17, 2008 Bottle, 4.8%. Very weak roasted aroma. Clear, very dark brown colour, red shine. The flavour is nicely roasted with some dark bread. Thin mouthfeel and sourish aftertaste, but actually not bad. rickgordon (3024), Göteborg, Sweden Jun 6, 2008 Bottled. Thanks MiP.
Dark brown colour. Big, creamy head. Dark aroma profile with metal dominating, underneath is toasty notes. Flavour is very subdued with light maltiness and not much else. This is a lot ligher and easier to drink than the dunkels I know. Still very anonomous beer all in all. Quack-Duck (1631), Bodensee, Germany Jun 6, 2008 bottle, thank you pivnizub! Dark brwon colour, medium-sized creamy head. Malty with hints of roasetd malt and cardboard. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 30, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a redish glare and a lacing white head. Mild malt aroma. flavour has a solid metallic towards blood note initially, but that fades away. Mild roasted and light body, yet not thin as such. Roasted and slight bitter finish. shrubber85 (2436), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany May 18, 2008 Bottle. Chocolate malt and light grassy hops aroma. Dark brown color with minimal head. Brown sugar malt flavor - only a hint grassy hops. Watery finish. Decent but very light.
