4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Color brown much dark one. Cremamy foam of optimal persistence. Much dense one and with a strong and sturdy body. Bitter with a fruit aroma and alcohol.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep, rich aroma. Sweet and yeasty, figs and maybe some cloves. There is a little bit of an alcohol nip in the aroma. Dark mahogoney color, a little bit of a ruby hue. A few bits of yeasty chunks in the bottom, the right amount. Alcohol is concealed. Not as heavy on the tongue as I was hoping.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
this beer poors a nice chestnut to brown color with cloudy body and moderatre particulate matter present. The head is large, tan and good lacing. Aroma is outstanding with hints of bubblegum. Flavor is malty, fruity and balanced in its finish by appropriate hopps. Palate is a little weak in my opinion and as such is rated lower.

Brown, off white tall lasting head. Soft carbonation. Malty aroma with some hops. Malty flavour, brown sugar, alcohol, prunes. A touch of floral (prefumy?) hops in the finish. Somewhat watery palate. Well balanced.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark with cream tan head. Sweet and heavy with lots of flavour, carbonation gets in the way. A bit too heavy, I will lay some down for a few years.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark, cloudy brown pour with an almost tan head that fades quickly. Aroma is of sweet malty bananas and yeast. Fruit, sugar and maybe even a little chocolate make up the flavors. Great carbonation and mouth feel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2005 Great brown pour. Very spicy aroma. The taste kept getting better and better as the beer went down. Truly great beers have that characteristic. The flavor was great but not the best ever. The aftertaste was fantastic because it lasts long. Great beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pale brown hear, large and thick. The aroma is fruity, making it very promising. The taste is very complew, with a fruity dominant. Slight alcoholic impression, but not overwhelming. Some bitterness but very well-balanced. I’d have this beer any time again !

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled 11.2 oz. Mahogany with large tan head. Raisins and Coriander in aroma. Malty sweetness cut by a peppery aftertaste but more balanced than Westmalle triple. Multiple tastings.
