11.2 oz botttle into Trappist glass. Aroma of tart fruit, a little funk, faint caramel malt. Pours a muddy brown with a medium head that dissipates fairly quick with big bubbles and decent lacing. Some sediment present. Taste is sweet with no bitterness. Finishes slightly sour. Full-bodied with a fantastic mouthfeel and aftertaste. High carbonation. Tasty.

33cl bottle. Pours a ruby-brown colour. Aroma is floral, malty and a bit nutty. Interesting flavor of fruits and bread. Creamy texture. Easy drinkable.

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark brown beer with a red shine, light beige medium head, light unstable. Smell of roasted malts and light caramel. Taste exists of roasted malts also, light caramel, but with a hoppy taste also, finishing light bitter, giving this beer an extra touch. The overall taste however is not strong enough for me, certainly compared with the Westmalle Tripel. But nice good beer anyway.

A classic style and a great legend. The thick head is gorgeous to behold. Poured from bottle @ home into Westmalle glass. I even used my Westmalle bottle opener to open it! There are figgs; spices and dark chocolate on the nose. I get a nutty texture, spices, fruits and chocolate on with a slightly woody oak finish. This is a good beer and one I have consumed on several ocasions so I felt obliged to buy a bottle and rate it. This has 15th September 2011 on the bottle best before date. Enjoyable beer.

A dark, reddish-brown trappist beer with a secondary fermentation in the bottle. The creamy head has the fragrance of malt and leasves an attractive lace pattern in the glass. The flavour is rich and complex, herby and fruity with a bitter finish. It is a balanced quality beer with a soft feel in the mouth and a long, dry aftertaste.

330ml Bottle Pours a deep brown with tinges of copper and a fluffy tan head that lasts and lasts. Sweet roasted malt and spice dominate in the nose but fruit dominates in the mouth with a lingering slightly sweet malt finish. Simply a champion of the style.

Hazy brown colour with a good frothy off white head. Fruity aroma with slight malt hints. Nice bitterness with a tangy finish. Not bad overall.
