alraicercsu (60), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy brown/red color with a lot of tan head. Berry aroma and yeasty, Taste is similar with a slight metalic finishing taste. budweiserblows (31), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pretty good. The bottle I had was none too spectacular however. Just a good, full-bodied dubbel, nothing you couldn’t find in a regular old Duvel though. deft (50), Sweden Jul 21, 2008 Hazy dark red colour with plenty of lathing tan head. Red fruits or berries in aroma, some metal. Taste is pretty much similar, a bit high on alcohol taste and high acidity.
