330ml bottle (bb.08.11.2007). Large beige foam mostly diminishing. Fair lacing. Russet coloured body. Light spicy aroma improving after a while in the glass. Medium syrupy palate. Yeasty flavour some of it covered with the sweetness of malty chocolate. The ending is sweet and dry. Solid mouthfeel.

Bottle. Mahogony color with a big beige head. Nice rich fruity/malty aroma. Would expect more flavor from the aroma, but there’s malt and apple flavors with some holiday spices. Medium body. Finshes dry. Could use a little more complexity to match the aroma.

Poured a cloudy dark brownish purple color with a large very light tan head with some lace. Sweet aroma of dark fruits, in particular plums. Taste was sweet, fruity and had hints of chocolate and roasted maltiness.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2010 Muddy brown with tan head, sweet honey aroma. Full mouth with complex spiciness. Alcohol shows through more than most.

looks fantastic. amazingly drinkable, almost skullable thanks to plenty of hops and rich citric fruits to balance the rotten stone fruits

330ml Bottle: Rating # 2000! Aroma of yeast, malts, dark ripe fruits, slight raisin, and a hint of caramel. Poured brown with a hint of amber in color and a large, foamy, fluffy, tan head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of yeast, caramel, malts, light dark ripe fruits, and some raisins. Medium body. Slightly tingly, medium-dry texture. Average carbonation. LIghtly sweet, caramel, and yeast finish is a bit sticky and a little dry.

Sampled at From The Vine beer tasting Jan 9th, 2004: This brew is a dark brown color with a thick foamy light beige head. Very thin lacing. It has an aroma of fruit, malt and toffee. Medium-bodied and rather smooth with lively carbonation. The flavor consists of fruit (plum was very noticeable), malt, and nuts. The flavors did not seem to play very well together though. The finish has a nice dark fruit character to it though. This beer is decent but I have had better Dubbels.
