Pours a dark reddish brown with a great creamy head and a touch of lacing. Aroma seems earthy and fruity, with some sweet tones. Flavor is lots of fruit, plums, raisins, bananas. A good tangy finish, with a touch of bitterness. A great beer, but not my favorist Trappist variety.

Tight, creamy head with good duration. Lovely reddish-mahogany colour. Tight nose at first, but opened to some toasty, roasty notes, sweetness, a bit of raisin, still not much. Nice mouthfeel, subtle carbonation. Seems to lack flavour and complexity. Not unpleasant, but a bit disappointing.

Nice dirty river water with a tight cream colored head. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, and buttermilk biscuit. Flavor shows some honey, cherry skin, and malt. Quite tasty and regularly available. Nice trappist example.

Amber brown in color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is of malt, caramelized sugar, toffee, and fruit. Taste is of toffee, toast and alcohol. Suprisingly smooth going down.

A soft fruity and still-baking bread nose with a bit of an oak barrel alcohol aroma. Very complex taste as I expected with a very, very smooth finish. I poured the entire contents into my brandy glass and was surprised at how much the yeast at the bottom resembled tobacco bits. I pledge to have this on tap at least once in my lifetime.
