rated blind from "Better Know a Style: Abbey Dubbel" tasting. Pours red brown with a beige ring. Fruity oxiditzed tobacco aromas. Watery thin and a low carbonation. Flavors of toffee, tobacco, red fruit, drying and watery. Maybe it was the overly warm temps but I wasn’t too much into this one. 8/3/6/2/11 = 3.0

Pours a chocolatey brown color. Lots of carbonation. Light brown head. Pre-dominate rummy alcoholice aroma. The flavor is where its at. Chocolate, raisins, cooked sugars, rum, other dark fruits. Full on the palate yet easy to drik several. Very nice. I may start keeping a couple around.

Dark, Dark orange-red/ looks like blood; Head was thin but fizzy; Aroma was full of Cognac and alcohol. Alcohol fills the mouth. Still very Cognac-like in the mouth. Also surprisingly dry, but not floral like an Orval. Very little sweetness or grapiness that i might have expected from this style. Palate was a bit thin.
