Bottle: First sip is an alcohol bomb, as you progress the taste is much more subtle with soft hints of cherries, red fruits. Finish is a bit thin and flat. Very potent aroma, strong alcohol fumes.

Gut!

Brown colour with beige/brown mediumsized head. Leaves nice lacing. Caramel and malt in aroma. Very fresh aroma. Fruity and malty taste with hints of hops. Aftertaste is made of citrus and hoppy bitterness. Very wellbalanced.

33 cl, flaske, 7,0 % ABV, BB: 12/01/17, købt i Den Belgiske Ølbutik i Vanløse, 21. juni 2015.

Caramel and yeasty aroma with notes of honey. Clear mahogany colour. Bitter front caught me off guard; notes of banana, toffee, and black coffee. Medium in body and carbonation.

Amnar bastante oscura. Dos - tres dedos de espuma ligeramente beige. Aroma tirando a amargo y hierbas. Gran cuerpo en boca. Bastante carbónica. Suave y cremosa.

Bottle at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. Pours a deep brown colour with a fizzy beige head. Aroma of cola, bubblegum, banana, cloves, brown sugar, some caramel and spice. Taste of caramel, cloves, some banana, slight bubblegum, prunes, raisin, brown sugar, some alcohol and late liquorice. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A long, sourish, warming, sugary finish. A warming, sweet, fruity dubbel with fruit and sugary flavours. Complex and nice to drink..

There’s a tartness that’s not from hops. The descriptions says that notes of ripe banana predominate. I would say it tastes more like apple.
