3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Poured a dark murky brown with a tan fizzy head that was fully diminishing and had poor lacing. The aroma was heavy of roasted malts and molasses, light resin hops and a moderate scent of a horse blanket yeast. It tasted slightly malty and extremely bitter at first and ended with a bitter acidic flavor that layed in the back of your throat. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a fizzy carbonation. Overall an OK brew, but nothing special.

Really great example of dubble dried dark fruits, spicy yeasty cinnamon and some banana. Light tan head and good palate.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottiglia. Birra splendida.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown and tan head, yeast and breads, not to much candi or dark fruits as this style has some times. Finishes pretty thick with a banana finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark brown colour with a fat head. Aroma is slightly caramel with hints of banana and a fruity background. Taste is a caramel body with a sweet backing and brown sugar notes. Aftertaste is dry, fruity with hints of chocolate at the very end. A very balanced, complex and not too strong dubbel, very drinkable.
