3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jamestulloch (524) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 29, 2013
Aroma: Mild aroma of lemon cake, straw and yeast.
Appearance: Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Light caramel, pepper and pear notes. Very subtle and easy drinking.
Palate: Medium body with a light, oily texture. Fizzy carbonation.
Overall: This is a tasty understated beer, but the Westmalle Tripel has much more flavour and character.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SVD (130) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2013
33CL bottle at home, damn what an ordeal to get this beer, but it’s worth it, decent beer, clear golden beer with a white head, aroma is decent, taste is light bitter with a bit more bitterness at the end, good beer but there are better beers out there but I wouldn’t say no if I got the change to drink it again.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Bamsen78 (1045) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit and flowers with a distinct hoppy note. Bitter, subtle, hoppy flavour, giving way to a rich, flowery body, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste. Yummy. The best BA I have tasted, I guess.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 PriorL (311) - BELGIUM - MAY 12, 2013
33cl bottle. Expiration date: 01/09/2013.
Appearance: clear blonde beer, lots of carbonation visible, large white stable head.
Nose: yeast, very fruity, apples, little like the american cookies but without the chocolate.
Taste: very fruity start, bitter to little oxidated finish. Could it already be to old? Though a very refreshing beer in total. How can this contain as much alcohol as a regular pilsener? A lot more taste in total!
Maybe a little to dry, but very fruity and light drinkable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 _angst_ (1796) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2013
330 ml bottle bought @ Etre Gourmet. Pours clear pale golden with a big frothy and fizzy goldenish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is malty, spicy, phenolic and tiny estery with bread, crackers, lemon zest, dark grapes, white pepper corns, dry soil, cereal and hints of sheet metal. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and spicy with crackers, white peppercorns, dark grapes, allspice, orange zest, dry soil, dry wood, hay, winegums, cereal and hints of metal. Mouthfeel is dry, crisp, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter and spicy with crackers, black pepper, dry wood, orange zest, dry soil, allspice and hints of sheet metal. Nice but a tad bit too astringent.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Palme (2311) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 5, 2013
0.33l bottle kindly provided by BelgBeerGeek. Not quite sure how old this bottle is, but it’definitely old! The pour on this one is near clear golden, and it has a massive everlasting and heavy fluffy just off-white head. It smells of honey, flowers, sweet dishwasher dispenser, thin red currants, some gooseberries and hints of old cellar. Quite nice, and you notice that it has a few years on its bottom this. The taste is heavy cellared and oxidized, but still quite drinkable. I get a light oily mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. The taste has a nice bitterness, lots of cellar tones, some clear wet cat and dry cardboard before it ends mild floral. Not a flavor bomb, but a damn interesting one to have tried. Thanks Vinc! 04.08.2012
