Bottle:   Golden, slight haze, moderate to large finely bubbled head, nice lacing.   Bright grassiness on the nose.   Seems to be mainly just a mustiness on the tongue.   Grassiness is dull.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Pretty basic.   Tiz alright, but rather boring.   Perhaps age was a factor.   Thanks Clint!

Thanks to TurdFurgison for the bottle. I’ve now had all three--wow, three--beers currently active from Westmalle. Thanks again, Eric. Pours a straw-yellow color with quite a bit of haze and a nice, big white head and some nice lacing is it goes down. The nose is quite nice with a lot of yeast character and a bit of malt sweetness. Mild fruit there as well as a bit of grass. The taste follows along the same lines. I’m a sucker for Belgian Pale Ales, that’s for sure. Mouthfeel is nice and moderately-crisp, at least for the style. Good body. Really easy to drink and wouldn’t mind having this as a table beer. Quite sessionable. Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, sweet malt and hops. Semi bitter finish.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear yellow with medium white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, spices, yeast, hops, citrus and bitter.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt and hops. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, textureis thin, carbonation is soft.

The beer pours medium murky honey gold with a nice white head. The head rises about 2 fingers of creaminess that lasts several minutes and fades to a soapy head leaving lots of thick lacing on the sides. The aroma is light, with honey, flowers and light hops. Its subtle but nice. The taste is light, light honey, some hops but a tiny skunk. The feel is good, pretty good drinkability. Overall, ok, good session beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a frothy white head. Aroma is white grape, green apple, pear, subtle spice along with some yeast and breadiness. The flavour is kind of the same, with the green apple, white grape and pear, but also with some lemony notes. I also get som breadiness, a peppery spice and yeast. The body is medium with a really dry mouthfeel. Overall a pretty solid Belgian Trappist Ale, but the drinkability would have been better without the intense dryness of the mouthfeel.

Bottle @ Kulminator, Antwerp. Pleasant sweet flowery aroma. Hazy pale golden yellow colour with good head. Dry lemon hoppy flavour. Sweet aftertaste.
