Jerre (1396), Waregem, Belgium Apr 26, 2008 From bottle 33 cl. Today @ Alvinne’s tasteroom and beershop.
Wonderfulf stuff. Hazy gold-yellow color, with good white head.
Aroma fruits, fresh and hops.
Medium body. Taste fruits, hops, good bitterness. Bit dry mouthfeel, for me my favourite Westmalle beer.
Even good as Westvleteren blond.
oberabcbbsok (684), Hoboken, Belgium Jul 15, 2007 Updated: Oct 10, 2007A very nice beer made only for the monks. I could also taste it from 6 years old.Not a beer to keep but still worth drinking. darkseduction (119), Zweibrücken, Germany Jun 11, 2008 Bottle 33cl. Pours a cloudy blond coloured brew with a huge white head. Very fresh, citrus, mango, ananas and lemongrass nose. Taste first grassy like japanese green tea, light body and texture, dry hoppy but seductive finish. Belgian yeast taste, amazing spring water, an impressive composition. A masterpiece. mkobes (2038), somewhere, New Jersey, USA Mar 12, 2006 Bottle @ Delirium Cafe. Yellow and cloudy in color with a nice lacing. Aroma is yeasty, hoppy and spicey. Coriander notes. Malty and hoppy flavor. Orangey and citrusy. Finish is sweet. Very nice. Medium bodied. Humulone_Red (744), Vancouver, Washington, USA Dec 31, 2006 Thanks to Dan & Joelle (DewBrewer) for sharing this treasure. 33cl. Bottle. Pours a hazy pale. The nose is flowery and kind of pine-like with some bread dough. The flavor has pine, citrus, earth with flowers in the mix as well. Very effervescent and slightly acidic in the finish and just enough bitterness to round it all out. Great beer.
