This cloudy golden beer high yeast, has a very pleasent blend of spices and orange taste. With a good ballance of sweet bitter feel bit not to much. Triple beers are normally not my favorite but this one is really excelente and full of strong flavors.

I find Westmalle Tripel to be the absolute gold standard in the category, complex but not overly saturated with multiple fruity esters. The beer provides a combination of ripe tree fruit along, particularly pear combined with a delicate light yeast derived peppery spice character.

The pour was a turbid golden color with hints at orange and lots of particulates ambling about. The aroma was yeast, citrus, floral and peppery. The flavor was yeast, tart fruit (crisp apple and lemon) with some malt and pepper coming through. Nice medium bodied mouthfeel.

Drank from a Chimay goblet: Big ass creamy top with glowing golden orange & a shitload of sediment swimming around.:
@ 9.5 % it’ll get you wasted soon .The floral palate & fruit from the yeast (apple ,banana -esters)are full on with heafty peppery spices.... .

Bottle. Moderate malt and hop aromas of grain, light bread and perfume, musty cellar for the yeast, with hints of clove and wood. Head is huge, rocky, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is hazy amber with tiny particles. Flavor starts moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is medium, oily, with a fizzy carbonation and finishes moderately astringent. I liked all the attributes of this Tripel, a prime example of the style.

Pours a hazy golden color with lots of suspended particulates. Good medium foamy white head, splashes the sides of the glass with nice sheets of lacing and head retention. Nose is fruity, spicy, clove, yeast. Initial taste begins fruity, clove, citrus, bready, earthy. Mid palate to finish is mildly vinous and refreshing. Alcohol is well masked. Palate duration is excellent. Fantastic triple.

2006 vintage...pours a cloudy honey color...more orange than yellow...with a thin white head and decent lacing. very fruity aroma with apricot notes and the alcohol is evident. flavor is mildly fruity and a touch of sour up front but is dominted by alcohol and dry spicey-grasay hops in the finish. moutfeel is a bit thin. not what i was hoping for in this cellared bottle.
