COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

This is the best of the Trappists beers that I’ve tried. It is very consistent. This amber brown mixture is generously heady and sparkling with just the right amount of fizz- not all punk-like but rather solid and mellow. I find the texture quite smooth and the taste lightly sweet with a medium hint of caramel. What is surprising it that the brew ebbs away from the other characteristics of Trappists beers with their certain presence of bitter hops. I appreciate that this brew is refreshing, and lovely in its essence. The slightly caramel and apricot taste on my tongue feels great.

From bottle. Fizzy, effervescent golden. Aroma is raisin, plum, light yeast, and candi sugar. Taste is similar to aroma, but with some light spice, prune, fig, and a touch of booze. Sparkly mouthfeel and lingering sweet warming and a hint of bitterness.

Bottle with BBE 1/2016. Pours clear yellow with a lively carbonation and a small white head. Nose has apple, citrus and the familiar belgian yeasty aroma. Licorice, spices and a bit of herbal hops with a bitter and sour taste. Overall a superb trappist that is certainly better at 1 year than fresh.

(przeprowadzka z excela: 2014-08-04, Butelka). Zasadnicza rozniaca (wieksza niz w innych piwach) w kontekscie temperatury.

Bottle from Katsuragawa Aeon. Cloudy pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is full of apple and spice with some peach and citrus. Carbonated mouthfeel with sweet apple balanced with yeast and a touch of spice. Unbelievable that it’s 9.5%.
