3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
From bottle. Zero head. Yellow color typical of tripels. Sweet aroma. Fine carbonation gives it a great mouth feel. Sweet but ends with a grassy bitterness.

A dry and refreshing beer with a fantastic depth and complexity in aroma and taste. Beware of the high ABV though!

Bottle. Pours almost clear, orange in colour, with big, white, stable head. In aroma malt, bread, apples, grapes, herbs. In taste bread, fruits, herbal and earthy bitterness. The beer is medium sweet with low bitter ending. Fizzy carbonated with well hidden alcohol. Nice tripel.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Het bier is heerlijk zacht in de mond. Mooie stevige schuimkraag erop. Het bier heeft iets citrusachtig in de smaak zitten wat me erg bevalt.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The 33cl bottle had a best before date of 23rd July 2016 and was poured into a Chimay goblet. It poured a hazy golden straw colour with a white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving thin soapy like lacing. There were aromas of bready malts, caramelised banana, candied sugar, slight bubblegum ending with lemon sour? Tastes were of sweet bready malts, orange, pear maybe some lingering banana ending with some slight alcohol. It was medium bodied with nice carbonation, creamy and also somewhat sticky. Overall this was a decent tripel. The best thing about it was its look especially the thin soapy lacing. The taste itself was decent, but nothing too special either.
