COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

Bottle - very hazy golden with a large clean rocky white head which lasts a good while. Good lacing. Aroma of cloves, yeast, lemon and orange. Taste of marzipan, clove, yeast and hay with a little earth and bitterness in the finish. Some light sourness to complement. Medium body, low carbonation.

Golden color with huge white head. Aroma is citrus, biscuity and booze. Taste is heavily sweet, dough and fruity. A very boozy finish. High carbonation. A Tripel on steroids.

Mijn favoriete tripel. Smaken perfect in balans : lichtzoete toetsen met perfect bittere afdronk. Bijhorend glas is het perfecte trappistenglas.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with generous head. Aroma of yellow fruits, cereal and a bit grassy. Taste is more of the same, but really well balanced, exquisite.

Hazy golden, big white fluffy head dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Full aroma of grains, bread, yeast, slight sweetness. Taste is medium bitter with a perfect balance between yeastiness, bitterness, sweetness, some gum and banana, slight alcohol touch. Lingering finish. Medium body, low carbo with sharp bubbles. In terms of availability, prize and quality, this is hard to beat.

Great trappist beer. The last time this beer was extremely mouth twisting bitter. I don’t know why, but this time it was great. The bitternes was perfectly in balance with the sweetness. Maybe this is because of the Corsendonk abbey Cheese I just had with extensive amounts of Dijon mustard. A great combo with bitter beers, I must say (the mustard). The beer is beautifully golden, clear and fizzy. Very nice tongue sensation. The foam is thick and perfectly white. The thick layer of foam disappears rather quick. A thin layer of foam remains till the last drop. The beer can surely be recommended to every lover of bitter high quality beers.

Bottle 330ml. Hazy golden-yellow with big bubbly off-white head. Sweetish fruity aroma (peach, apricot, citrus), yeasty with notes of candy. Sweet-sour flavor, fruity (peach, citrus), some spiciness, notes of black pepper, light bitterness, yeasty and very boozy. Lively carbonation, medium-bodied.

Barwa żółto-złota, mętna, spory osad drożdżowy na dnie butelki. Piana sycząca, sporych rozmiarów pęcherzyki, szybko opada do kożuszka. W aromacie przewaga owoców spod znaku brzoskwiń, moreli, jabłka, są nuty kwiatowe i dzikie, stajenne. Ogólnie dość intensywny, świeży i przyjemny aromat. Tripel prima sort. Przede wszystkim bardzo zbalansowany, dość treściwy, mocny, jednak zdecydowana owocowość i stosunkowo wysokie nagazowanie nadaje mu fajnej pijalności. Piwo warte swojej renomy.

Tippling a Tripel is totally a treat but this one, although tasty, was not a favourite. Rather a pretty fair blonde with yeast in suspension, the meringue-like peaks remind you where they have been the whole way down. Heavy scents of honey, hay, white wine, coriander and black pepper take shape in the taste as well. A strong boozy flavour, propelled by the dry body and feisty carbnation, is very present, not entirely unwelcome but ever noticeable. This beer’s strength lies in the crisp, spiced fruit notes that forgive the alcohol heat.
