COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

In a long string of Belgian ales, I’ve finally had one that comes from, well, Belgium. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say the Belgian ales have a superior taste, it’s hard to argue against their physical beauty. Westmalle’s Tripel is sublime in the looks department. Golden body with pure white suds. Some lovely aromas here, too. Fruit, earth, malt, candy, and booze. Sound fantastic, right? It is. Banana, grass, malt sugar, clove, citrus - lots of highly palatable complexity. Mouthfeel is velvety smooth. Is it weird to say this beer feels good in your mouth? Because it does. Whatever. I’m not ashamed. If you love the lighter-colored, brighter Belgian exports, get yourself this one.

yummy tripel with all the right characteristics of the tripel style. I find it too boozy however.

Beautiful, deep and mighty aroma, full of malts nad fruity notes. It’s slightly hazy, golden color beer with nice white head. It’s full body, very smooth and highly carbonated beer. But this carbonation feels great, there is a lot of micro bubbles which are fizzing on the tongue. In taste full malty flavour, with great fruity notes and pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Alcohol is noticeable. Great classic. Must try.

This is a good tripel. Easy to drink, good appearance. However, personally, I do prefer beers with hops more evident.

330mL bottle. Pours hazy blonde with a thick cap of white head. Nose is loaded with fruit; apple, banana, juicy fruit gum, candied orange. Lots of candy floss, honeyed malt, chamomile and woodsy hop. Sweet up front with plenty of spice and a bit of bitterness on the back end. Full bodied and full textured with a creamy mouthfeel. A hallmark, lovely.

Bottle at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. Pours a hazy golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of bread, some Belgian yeast, cereal, slight banana, subtle cloves, a little apricot, herbs and lots of spice. Taste is similar of bread, some Belgian yeast, banana, subtle cloves, slight vanilla, pepper, lemon, a little apricot and spice. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, slightly tart, citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. A great example of a Belgian tripel. Fruity, spicy and the unmistakeable Belgian banana, clove yeast flavours. Great.

Bottle. Orange-gold with white head and substantial lacing. Subtle fruity yeast aroma. Yeasty citrus upfront with mild plum and subtle clove in the finish. Full, mouthcoating. Exceptionally long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not my favorite Aroma. But it is good. Lots of cereal, citrus, fruity and hoppy aroma. Normal Foam, is a bit more carbonatated than I would wanted. I felt it very dry.
