| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 2, 2009 Pours into a chalice with many, many bubbles hiding the light yellow colour. Very big, light, fluffy head. Aroma is of malts and coriander, smells slightly syrupy too. Taste is a strong alcoholic brew with lots of syrup, very sweet, slightly bitter and coriander-ish finish. Very strong, but very nice, and went well with my blued steak. planky84 (111), , Greater London, England

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Pours a cloudy light orange with a large white head. Aroma is quite fruity (light fruits) with nice spice, also yeast. Yummy flavor of fruit and spice again, licorice, yeast, a little rye too. Nice bold flavor doesn’t leave me yearning. Good funky, citric-acid aftertaste. Rich mouthfeel, upper-medium viscosity. One of the best tripels I’ve ever had, simply. Near the apex of this style. Overall, excellent plus.
