A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. A rather sweet bubble gum aroma greets the nose. Taste is bittersweet, yeasty, with orange peel, bubble gum, and coriander tossed together. The hops presence is floral, fruity, and quite strong, but still in balance. Dry and very smooth with an alcoholic warmth that rises throughout. Very nice.

Typical Belgian aroma: a lot of fruits, some honey, bread, raisins. Carbonation is very high, something like champagne. Alcohol is well hidden. Perfect Tripel.

L: pours a bright hazy honey-gold, with a huge pillowy white head that lasts for days and laces strongly. S: there’s a big up front whiff of Belgian yeast and champagne, this settles and offers a complex fruity aroma, spice and must, bready malt. T: fruity and spicy flavour, a tad boozy, more of a balanced mish-mash of flavours that work as one than separate parts. F: medium up front carbonation, full mouthfeel, smooth with a dry finish. No alcohol feel. O: it’s finessed, balanced, a benchmark for the style, although there are a few other tripels that excite me more this is great drinking.

Really, I must have had this hundreds of times, but the last time was apparently before my RB years... Bottle, shared. Clear golden color. Big, rocky white head with good retention. Aroma’s: sweet, some fruit, malst/grain. Retronasal it’s sugar and fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, somewhat fruity. Good carbonation. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Will add the finish with a next bottle :-)

Color dorado, claro y cristalino. Con suave espuma blanca. Aroma floral, con algo de plátano. Dulce y afrutada. Notas de bizcocho y especias. Final seco. Calidez alcohólica sin molestar.

Bottle.A: Cloudy gold with a foamy white head. N : Clove, coriander, white peppercorn, cracker, leaves, rye bread and doughiness. Good amount of banana and a hint of lemon rind.T: Good amount of bitterness and a touch of bitterness.M: Medium body, prickly carbonation, no alcohol.O: Given how sweet most American tripels are, this is downright hoppy. Well balanced and a classic but there is just something I am missing here.

Brilliant Belgian Tripel. This is complex and spicy, and it has a fantastic, champagne-like carbonation that really opens the entire beer up. Just a textbook example of what a tripel should be.

Orange colored, unclear, medium- white head. Aroma is Belgian sugar and spicy yeast, some caramel and bit of fruit. Taste is similar, medium+ sweet caramel and candy sugar, some fruits, quite phenolic spicy, Belgian yeast, bit of alcohol and warmth, medium- spicy bitterness, dry. Full bodied, soft to average carbonation.

My absolute only critique of this beer is it has zero head. Aside from that it is one of the single most incredible beers I’ve ever had in my life, not too happy, perfect flavor and color, simply amazing!
