33cl bottle, superbest. good aroma, looks nice with sizable white head, strong solid taste. some soapy undertones (or not - i’ve been cleaning my old apartment for hours, perhaps it’s me who smells like soap), average to good palate, Overall a nice beer, but i sort of miss something to get really excited about. After it had heated up a bit it got markedly better, so i adusted palate and overall. 8-14 celc. is indeed the range.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Active carbonation throughout the session. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light fruity citrus taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor. This is hands down the best Abbey Tripel on the market, the absolute benchmark!!!

33cl bottle from Beers of Europe. A golden-tinged orange colour with plenty of lively carbonation and a massive dense white head. Spicy hop aromas with some herbs, orange and yeast and an alcohol backbone. Plenty of flavourful spice with a sweet counterpart. Touches of the fruity, herbal character that’s in the aroma comes through in the taste. The alcohol content definitely announces itself in abundance but never becomes overpowering. Thick, spicy and warming on the palate.

Really great Tripel. Pour was light golden with very long lasting thick white head. Aroma of spice(coriander and orange peal), fruity esters, and malt. Body was medium light due to beat sugar. Alcohol is not very noticeable. Nice citrus and dry finish. Good trappist. Would buy again.

Bottle. Pours a lovely, bubbly, hazy orange body with fluffly white head. Aroma of orange, apricot, yeast, and grain. Nice light, biscuit flavor with citrusy hops, clove, and honey. The finish is clean with a pepper bite. Faint alcohol burn on the aftertaste. Lively, light oil/syrup mouthfeel.

Bottle. The pour produced a huge, thick, foamy, white head and a a beautiful dark amber body. Its spicy aroma washed down well with a slightly bitter taste full of hops. Its 9.5% was nicely hidden. Well done!

Poured a hazy dark golden color with a puffy well formed cap. The nose was intense with clove, orange peel, and spiced cider. The taste begins smooth yet peppery then soon transforms to coriander notes. The finish shifts gears yet again to more of a bitter and biscut flavor. This is one strong beer but none the less very drinkable and very tasty.

Bottle in Amsterdam (of all places). This was my first ever experience with Belgian beers, and it drew me in. I remember ordering it because it had such a high alcohol content, and then when it came, trying it, and thinking, wow, this is remarkably good!
