Nice fruity aroma from a cloudy golden color with a big fluffy white head. Flavor is quite unlike the aroma with a bitter, peppery taste that is good but different. Finishes very dry.

75cl bottle. pours golden hue, white head. aroma, nice floral hops, Belgian yeast flavor, yeasty, some fruit elements, possibly tropical’ pineapple, prickly mouthfeel, mild malty finish and a warming abv. Good but the not the most memorable trappist.

My worst trappist beer. To heavy on alcohol. Does not have the refinement of Westvleteren or the originality of Rochefort. It is an ok beer but its a bad result for a trappist.

Bottle. Pours a murky orange with white head. Aroma has great farmhouse notes with a nice acidity that pushes out the fruitiness. Flavor has a nice malty backbone combined with farmhouse flavors and citric fruitiness, yeasty, a little alcohol spice as well. Overall, a very well rounded, tasty tripel.

golden, hazy sparkling with great white head. Aroma yeast. Taste - sweet yeast with markedly alcohol. Body is medium. Texture thin. Carb is lively. Finish with lasting alcohol feeling.

Bottle from SL... Pours a light orang-ish color, monster head! Aroma of some light spices, a little perfume, banana and some yeast. Taste is a sweet but dry banana, spices, light hops and some yeast notes. Nicely done. No trace of alcohol. Texture is light, fluffy and dry. Overall its not chimay but a nice tripel to sip on.

Well done triple with a champagne-like texture, fruity esters, a strong yeast quality but I feel the dubbel has more flavor than this one has despite some citrus and well hidden alcohol.

Hazy golden, with thick pillowy head that doesn’t seem to leave! Fruity taste, floral hops. Slightly dry. Nice mouthfeel. Alcohol is well present and gives a warm feeling. A beer one could appreciate all year long.
