Poured with an extremely huge creamy white head. Yellow in color with what looks like extreme carbonation. Slightly hazy. Aroma was not great, lots of malt and yeast (broth), alcohol and orange hops were the highlights. Flavor was good, ending on a bitter note with a nice warming alcohol sensation. Goes down very nicely.

Bottle. Golden yellow color with fluffy head. Aroma heavy in grapes and pears, some alcohol in there. Flavor contains endless numbers of fruits, the grapes and the pears, as well as apricots, peaches, apples, lemons, oranges, then plums and getting into darker fruits as the body warms with some toffee at a warm finish. Although it was very much dominated by the fruits, the complexity and crispness of all the individual flavors made for a luscious brew, with an incredibly full, vibrant, hearty, yet alcohol-light mouthfeel for a light-colored beer of this abv. Needless to say considering my high rating, I love this beer.8-4-9-5-18/4.4

Rerate 12/5/08. Bottle. Aroma of banana, pear, pepper-dominated spices, maybe some other light fruits. Flavor more in the apricot range of fruitiness, though the banana and pear remain. Big, dry, almost coarse spiciness carried by quite an ample malt base. Maybe some orange peel in there as well. Intense finish with that coarse, spicy feel. Though I’m just not as enthralled with this style of beer as I was upon first rate, still world class, no doubt. 8-5-8-4-16/4.1

Pours hazy orange with a huge, creamy white head. The aroma has tart apples and citrus, fruity sweetness, and some spice. Fruit sweetness and citric tartness, clove and bready malts make up the taste profile, with a nice finish of noble hops and spice. Medium-bodied and silky with peppery carbonation and a dry finish. This beer is wonderful and exemplary of the tripel style.

Pours a clody golden orange with a thick, foamy white head. Pleasant aroma of grape, pear and floral alcohol. Dry fruity taste with hints of apple, grape and pear as well as a slightly sour yet crisp alcohol finish. Very tasty.

Bottle. Poured to a golden apricot color with aq fluffy white head, Fizzy, medium body, cloudy. Sweet, malt, fruit, flower, honey aroma with alcohol back-drop. Dry & sharp with alcohol tones. Flavorful beginning, poppy. Medium middle, biting & fizzy. Astringent taste with slight fruit tones. Fast end, dry, crisp with light alcohol. Nice & balanced but strong alcohol flavor.

Dirty yellow colour with a tinge of green at the edges of the glass and a small fizzy head. Light hoppy aroma with a hint of plum. Soft, carbonated mouthfeel; surprisingly slight alcohol flavor given the content and an oat-like flavor.
