| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Appearance: Hazy amber colour with a big fluffy white head, and very heavily carbonated.
Aroma: Fruit and yeast on the nose. Peppery spice, clove, banana, orange peel. Very aromatic.
Taste: Sweet and fruity up front, before making way for a heavy spiciness of pepper and clove. There is a banana flavour in there, along with an orangey zest. Quite bitter hoppy finish that clings to the palete.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, and very lively on the carbonation. The texture is oily and slick.
Drinkability: An absolutely world class triple, I could drink this everyday. The flavours are perfect and moreish. This is a beer that has to be experienced. Hbuck72 (123), Chickasha, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2009 the head and carbonation on this was almost too much. so thick and foamy and difficult to drink right away (tulip). i have had my eye on this and was very excited to drink this for a little while and i was not dissapointed but was not blown away by a long shot. the aroma was very modest and does not sweep you off your feet at first whiff. barely malty with barely a whiff of fruits which i cant even pinpoint, almost a bland smell... then i took a sip!! first sip was great though, it made up for my almost dissapointment on glance and smelling the brew. a unique variety of orange, cinnamon and malt sat on my mouth and i loved it. a tad bit alcohol on the aftertaste but over and under well above average and the amazing taste made up for the averageness of everything before and up to that. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 3, 2009 11.2 oz. bottle purchased at Greens on Ponce De Leon. HUGE fluffy head. The head was ridiculous, but I am all about nice head. Haze gold/orange color. Very nice looking tripel I must say! Not so sure about the aroma. Yeast, and other subtle fruit and spice aromas are starting to surface. The aroma is not extremely pungent or nuanced. A slight fruity/spice aroma. I would say this leans more towards the subtle fruit aroma, but I am not that impressed with the aroma. The flavor is a different story; that subtle fruit aroma becomes a lot more noticeable. The beer is very smooth, but has an annoying carbonation bite at the very end to keep it away from a "5" on the palate level for me. Best thing about this beer is the flavor; it has that nice fruit smoothness with a mild spice bite helped by the carbonation. Very nice beer, and at almost 10% ABV , I am enjoying this even more. Pretty nice tripel I must say. This one is not so heavy on the yeast, which is great. craftycarl21 (525), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Updated: Sep 2, 2009Hazy peach color with an absolutely massive white fluffy head that actually got bigger as time went on; incredible appearance. Smell is really nice; nothing too complex or aggressive, but very pleasant, with clove, yeast, cinnamon, and orange peel. Flavor is extremely spicy and yeasty, and the 9.5% alcohol seems to come through in the intense spiciness, which is quite interesting. Certainly not your run of the mill tripel, and clearly well crafted. Some wouldn’t dig this, but I think I do. arrogantb (700), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Dated 060208, I wonder how old that makes this beer? Hazy, bright golden color with a fluffy, huge, white clump of a head. The smell is good but subtle, yeasty and spicy. The taste is smooth, spicy, delicious but not at all strong or sweet like many American tripels I have had. The fact that this is 9.5 ABV and I can’t taste it is impressive. This may be the best tripel I’ve had so far, more subtle than American tripels.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Bottle at Dayton Ale Fest. Pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, citrus, and spice. Notes of cloves, sweet orange peels, and fruity yeast really stand out. On the palate, is is nicely carbonated. The flavor brings out the sweet malts and gives the yeast a bit of a banana flavor. It finishes dry. I am not a huge tripel fan, but this one was pretty good.
