Got this in a gift baskt for christmas and it pours a nice thick head and golden color even though it was poured into a trapist glass. The head is really sudsy and it leaves some thick laceing along the sides of the glass. The aroma is strong lemon grass and some hints of citrus hops. as you drink it the beer has a lot of carbonation mixed with orange peel and smooth lemon grass with a creamy after taste. Although it is very dry and the lemon does not last long in your mouth it wasw still a refreshing beer.

330ml bottle from Bevmo Carmel Mountain. Brew pours a nice hazy yellow with a light orange tint. Head was off white and big at first then, dissipated quickly. Nose of candied citrus fruits banana and some yeast. the 9.5% was hidden very well. Somewhat spicy one the pallet, fairly dry as well.

Pours a golden hazy yellow with thick creamy white head that created stiff peaks (looked like whipped egg whites). The aroma was of yeast, banana and spice. Flavor and alcohol become more intense as the beer warms. Nice and creamy sips. I think I will be going for another.

golden yellow pour with a thick, velvety head that lasted. My nose was filled with banana, clove, and lemon. Definitely high on carbonation, and a bit of hops covers some of the other flavors. Thou the banana, and clove came thru on the finish for me. Finish was crisp, with a mix of the hops, clove, and yeast. Quite enjoyable, definitely one i’ll come back to.

11.2 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow orange with a lasting white head just short of stiff peaks. Yeasty lemon peel nose with mild banana and peppery toasted coconut. Buzzy carb. Chewy and sweet, sharp and tangy lemon-lime-orange parfait. Richness of flavor makes this stand out from all the Tripels i’ve tried. Benchmark stuff. I’ll be visiting this one regularly.
