Poured from 330 ml bottle at Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring, MD.
Very hazy, golden color with a small off-white head and very good lacing.
Aroma of peach, citrus, banana, biscuit malt, coriander and mild spices.
Taste of biscuit malt, coriander, peach, citrus, sweet malts and spices. A nice blend of sweet, bitter, fruit and spice.
Medium body and medium carbonation with a pleasantly complex mouthfeel.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Un bon classique de la bière Belge. Belle mousse bien compact, couleur doré "foncé". Des arômes de banane et de céréales, avec un léger goût de miel. On ne sent que très peu les 9,5 degrés d’alcool. Toujours un plaisir !

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
(33 cl bottle from Toft Vin; BBD: June 27th 2015) Pours a hazy golden with medium white head. Good retention and nice lace. Initial aroma has some refreshing green hops, which is rapidly displaced by a more yeast and spice dominated aroma that has strong ester notes with banana and some green fruit shining through. I like the aroma of this tripel pretty well although not as good as the Tripel Karmeliet I’d say it is among the best of the tripels that I have tried. Palate experience reinforces the impression as it gives an initial oily almost creamy mouthfeel with lively carbonation and a strong body followed by a long, dry aftertaste caused both by hop bitterness and alcohol. Flavour is largely like the nose with the dominant notes being those of alcohol and hops as it should be. Nicely done!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Intense spicy (I guess coriander) and yeasty, quite fruity mostly orange, moderate maltiness, bit alco, bit honeyish. Sweet, bittersweet with notes of sour. Really great balance. Very refreshing and highly drinkable for quite complex brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Yellow/golden in color with a small white head. Noses of yeast, bit citrus and floral. Offers a full body and surprisingly watery and yet chewy in some respect. Light sweet and some salty hints. Finish is medium-long.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: dark-ish golden color with banana yellow edges. Cloudy & opaque, topped with a super volatile, huge cloud-like, white head. Unabashedly sweet aroma with notes of candied bananas, residual sugar, Belgian yeast, clove, orange peel, mint (?), various other spices, mild phenol, musky hops, & a very slight, pickled/vinegar aroma. Taste is like sweet salt water taffy, banana flavors with other notes of Candi sugar, rotten mangoes, cloves, musty leaves, fresh baked bread, & brown sugar coated plums. Alcohol is hidden well at first, but becomes quite a contender with warmth - probably my largest complain about this beer. Good balance of malty sweet & a light, finishing hop bitterness.
