COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2012 Bottle says best before October 06 2013 thus it was one year old. Deep orange hazy gold with a thick puffy white lasting head. Smells full of citrus fruit and mango, malt and a deep cookie under all that alcohol. I hope with some more ageing that will fade. Some spices, like ginger and hay. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of malt and spice with alcohol tummy warming. A nice earthiness makes it more of a sipping experience. Apples, raisin, some lemon. The finish is dry with some hops lingering. Nice and complex. Delicious after it aged. Want more.

11.2 oz. bottle from Party Time in Spearfish. Appearance: 2 fingers white head that lasts only as a film, straw gold to orange gold, cloudy. Aroma: fruity esters, light leather, Palate: medium body, average carbonation, light alcoholic warming, sort of thin alcoholic texture. Taste: sweet fruitiness, into a nicer, fuller malty sweetness, with some alcoholic notes towards the end. Overall, amazing tripel, love the balance, tastes are really nice, very good.

Mooi blond biertje, uitdagende geur. Smaak is mooi zacht, lekkere ronde zoete smaak zonder dat het een te zoete ondertoon heeft. Heerlijk !

Bottle. Golden color with a thick white head. Aroma has yeast, sour fruits, spices and some hops. Taste is a bit sour with very long nice aftertaste. High carbonated. Flavors of spices, fruits, hops, yeast and some alcohol warmth in the end. Smooth and strong nice beer.

Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Medium head, cloudy pale yellow in color. Very slight fruity scent. Smooth finish belies the potent 9.5% ABV content. Deliciously deceptive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1pt 9.4oz corked bottle. Golden yellow cloudy color with frilly lace head that reduces quickly. Strong aroma of alcohol, slight sweetness and hops. Full mouthfeel and sting bitter aftertaste that clears quickly. High alcohol content (since it's a tripel) means your tongue will go numb but you won't care cause it's so tasty. You could say it's like the IPA of Belgian tripels.

Slightly cloudy with a good creamy head. Sweet tasting with a bitter after taste. Nice lacing around the glass as the beer went down.

Second beer with dinner at the only real steakhouse in Nieuw Vennep. Wet and slightly spicy. Big and sneaky. But not too sneaky. Went very well with the beef sirloin. For a beer so big, it truly is subtle. I had to be careful decending the tight spiral stairs from the old mill after finishing desert.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 330cc bottle. Pours golden and cloudy with a foamy white head. It is a bit hoppy but mostly fruity and spicy. You can taste the alcohol. Fills nicely the mouth. Great beer.
