COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

330ml brown bottle. A careful pour yielded a very clear, golden hued beer with a small lacy, creamy white head. Yeast plays a big part in the aroma, floral hops are noticable, fruity with faint oranges. Creamy mouthfeel but effervescent. Flavour was bready and yeasty, with a nice burst of orangey hops in the middle. Long dry finish with a nice note of bitterness.

Floral and grassy aroma, clear straw yellow copper color with sediment and bubbles. Bubbly on tongue then lingers with clove kick. Apricot and spice flavor with malty finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It’s been a while that I’ve tasted Westmalle Tripel. And it’s been too long! Light gold. Strong and powerful. Banana, yeast, fruity notes. Pronounced bitterness. Pretty dry. Nice fine foam.

Huge fine white head. Secnt of pale malt, light alcoholic. Some hints of hops. Heavy thick body with the taste of pale dried fruits. Sweet fruity warming Trappist.

Nice fruity aroma with yeast notes present, body is a very hazy deep yellow with orange tinge, a mid sized white cap leaves thick laceing. Alcohol is well hidden in the taste, flavors of fruit, spices, and yeasty malts. Overall a pretty good tripel glad i finally tried it. Originally rated on 10/9/2008.

Pale golden with big, white, frothy head. In aroma and taste pleasant peach fruitiness, bit of honey, some peppery and spicy notes also hint of alcohol. Pleasant bitterness in opposite to honey/fruity sweetness. Very soft, smooth and creamy in taste medium carbonation

Bottle. Hazy yellow/golden with big white head. Frooty aroma. Taste is a bit saur and yeasty, boozy and bitter long lasting finish. Abbey Tripel is just not my favorite style
