Bottle. GUSHER! Pours a cloudy light orange with a huge, thick, foamy white head that leaves nice lacing on a Westmalle glass. Aroma of spcies (particularly clove), lemon/citrus zest, and the typical tripel skunk. Tastes like...a tripel! Lots of Belgian yeast and spices, maybe some cinnamon. As the beer warms some light fruits (especially apple) come out, but you really have to search for it. Mostly the beer is dominated by spices. Pretty drinkable as the 9.5% isn’t noticed in the flavor or palate. Probably my favorite tripel, although this style is one of my least favorite.

Bu au Vineyards Wine Bar & Bistro (Ottawa) en septembre 2005. http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/ontario/ottawa/viney Goût fort mais pas trop imposante, un peu fruité et épicé. Très bon!

Nice tripel but it tastes alot of alcohol. I could have used a better blend of other flavors. Even still, I held higher standards for this one.

Orange/yellow pour with some big bubbles and a great creamy thick off-white head. Lots of yeast and some orange zest in the aroma. Sugary and robust, orange peel bitter, tangy yeast. Somewhat one-dimensional for a triple, odd woody burnt bitter aftertaste. Tastes like theres some potato vodka in it, the alcohol is showing through. Palate is really nice, its completely different, has a whipped texture to it.

Bottle at L’Imaige de Notre Dame in Brussels. Cloudy yellow color with a stable off-white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, fruits, and some nice hoppiness. Flavor is yeasty and fruity with some spices and a bitter finish. Medium body and lots of carbonation. A very nice Tripel.

Poured a hazy golden color with a huge frothy white head that one would expect from a Belgium. Aroma was yeasty. This beer had a full mouth feel but was very drinkable. Good but not great.

Bottle 0,33l.Bright golden. Cloudy. A huge head building up when poured from a distance. A sourish and fruity aroma. You notice the alcohol in the lasting finish. A lot of sediments in the bottle.

Fruity aromas, hints of bananas, and soft citrus, with a lot spice. Pours blonde with a thick white head. Fruity up front, sweet citrus, some honey, with a big dryness that follows and a very spicy finish!
