33cl Bottle. Hazy golden colour with small sediment and a large white head that lasts with good lacing. Aroma of mild spice, earth and yeast. Rather intense tripel flavour but mellowed before finished. Enjoyable beer.

11.2 oz. bottle purchased at Greens on Ponce De Leon. HUGE fluffy head. The head was ridiculous, but I am all about nice head. Haze gold/orange color. Very nice looking tripel I must say! Not so sure about the aroma. Yeast, and other subtle fruit and spice aromas are starting to surface. The aroma is not extremely pungent or nuanced. A slight fruity/spice aroma. I would say this leans more towards the subtle fruit aroma, but I am not that impressed with the aroma. The flavor is a different story; that subtle fruit aroma becomes a lot more noticeable. The beer is very smooth, but has an annoying carbonation bite at the very end to keep it away from a "5" on the palate level for me. Best thing about this beer is the flavor; it has that nice fruit smoothness with a mild spice bite helped by the carbonation. Very nice beer, and at almost 10% ABV , I am enjoying this even more. Pretty nice tripel I must say. This one is not so heavy on the yeast, which is great.

From bottle : Pours a hazy orangish color with lots of carbonation and a one finger white rocky head that has good staying power, and leaves wonderful lacing in cool designs all around the glass. Aroma is strong, fruits, a little alcohol..smells kinda dry, alot like a wine. Flavor is really good and mellow, hints of fruit and spice and a little yeast, alcohol is nowhere to be found. Palate is a thin medium, it starts out smooth and gets a little lively toward the end, leaves the palate dry after it is down the hatch. I really like this.

33cl bottle from Beers of Europe. A golden-tinged orange colour with plenty of lively carbonation and a massive dense white head. Spicy hop aromas with some herbs, orange and yeast and an alcohol backbone. Plenty of flavourful spice with a sweet counterpart. Touches of the fruity, herbal character that’s in the aroma comes through in the taste. The alcohol content definitely announces itself in abundance but never becomes overpowering. Thick, spicy and warming on the palate.

Delicious! Ahh God bless the trasppistes. Nice and strong, nice head nice lace. A little citrusy and yeasty. Sweet but doesn’t cloy. Nice mouthfeel, maybe a litle bite, but appropriate to the style.

Pours a cloudy orange with about a finger of slowly dissipating stark white head. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter citrus odor. Nice bitter spiced taste, really great hoppy bitterness with it to go along with some grapefruit and grass aftertaste. This is a lot more complex than most tripels. Good stuff

Bottle. Golden yellow color with fluffy head. Aroma heavy in grapes and pears, some alcohol in there. Flavor contains endless numbers of fruits, the grapes and the pears, as well as apricots, peaches, apples, lemons, oranges, then plums and getting into darker fruits as the body warms with some toffee at a warm finish. Although it was very much dominated by the fruits, the complexity and crispness of all the individual flavors made for a luscious brew, with an incredibly full, vibrant, hearty, yet alcohol-light mouthfeel for a light-colored beer of this abv. Needless to say considering my high rating, I love this beer.8-4-9-5-18/4.4

Rerate 12/5/08. Bottle. Aroma of banana, pear, pepper-dominated spices, maybe some other light fruits. Flavor more in the apricot range of fruitiness, though the banana and pear remain. Big, dry, almost coarse spiciness carried by quite an ample malt base. Maybe some orange peel in there as well. Intense finish with that coarse, spicy feel. Though I’m just not as enthralled with this style of beer as I was upon first rate, still world class, no doubt. 8-5-8-4-16/4.1

Bottle. Pours an opaque orange color. Aroma of citrus and lemon zest. Flavor is strong on the malts, sweeter aftertaste. Good beer
