3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2011 Bottle. Poured a medium murky yellow almost gold in color with a huge (3 to 4 fingers) white frothy head that was fully lasting and had excellent lacing.
The aroma was of light grain malts, a piney hop and a mild soapy yeast with notes of dried fruit, banana, clove and a mild dose of alcohol.
It tasted a bitter-sour with hints of banana and clove throughout then had a mild fruity flavor with a slight pepper note and a rather heavy alcohol tinge at the end. The flavor stayed with you for nice long time allowing one to enjoy this brew well after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and had a dry texture with a mild to medium carbonation.
Overall this Tripel was kind of fruity with a nice spice note and had a good kick to it at the end. Very Tasty!!!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours clear straw with a fluffy white head that lasts. Nice lacing. Aroma is peppery with a bit of clove and citrus, maybe a little banana as well. Taste is very similar to the nose with almost a liquorice like finish. Big stong mouthfeel, tingly and warming. good beer!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours bubbly and hazy yellow-gold with a hard to contain head that's white, foamy and loaded with bubbles of all sizes. Aroma is lager-like: bready, toasted malt - with yeast and a whiff of fruit. Rich and balanced taste that is full of mildly sweet spicy fruit flavors and dry yeast all carried on an undercurrent of booze. A top notch trippel but the price is steep.

33cl bottle from Belgian supermarket. Really fantastic light golden colour. Strong Belgian yeast aroma. Zesty and fruity with a sweet kick and a dry finish. A classic tripel with a fantastic frothy head. Fighting with La trappe for my favorite triple!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden color with a frim foamy head. High Carbonation. Yeast and alcohol in the aroma. Citrus fruityness in the taste that turns into the slightly bitter and dry aftertaste. The alcohol i there but you wouldn’t say its a 9,5% beer. A triple like a triple should be.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer that original of this style of beer. So it’s a classic taste or rather taste of basic indeed. However, it has become a good finish, and too much to drink carelessly. Because it is a taste of strictness rather, it might be nice to drink on a hot day.

Aroma is of belgian yeast and clove. A bit of alcohol can be picked up. Taste is a fruity one with a bitter/warm alcohol finish. The taste is pleasant but not very complex. The bitterness and alcohol tastes linger beyond end.Body is lightly clouded and gold. Pearl head retains very well.
