snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - NOV 14, 2012
Tasted from the bottle, on 13/11/2012. Pours of hazy copper/brown color with a huge head. Aroma is mild and caramely sweet upfront, with hints of lollipops in the end. Taste is normal, with notes of dark fruits, caramel, hints of bread as well. Huge alcohol tone in the aftertaste. Neutral. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Typical all around for the style. Candy sugar, spice, some fruit in the aroma and flavor. A bit more bitterness than expected. Lots of booze, maybe a bit too much.

erickok (3414) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - OCT 26, 2012
Cloudy amber body with off white, lasting head. Nice blend of fresh, modern and very forest-y hops with a Belgian clean yeast and mild caramel malt backup. Soft carbonation makes it a bit yeasty but pleasant to drink. Is just barely able to hide the alcohol, going a glowing warmth in the back. Fairly sweet and not as much raw hops as expected in the taste. That would have been nice. Modern aroma but old fashioned taste. Pretty expensive as well. (33cl bottle)

Bottle thanks to Kenny from capitol beer. Was expecting a little sour. Aroma is belgium. Color is cloudy yellow orange. Taste is belgium yeast with some booze.

Svesse (6041) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2012
(Draught at Antwaerps Bierhuiske, Antwerpen, 19 July 2012) Hazy amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with orange, caramel and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, dried apricots, caramel and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Nice one.

A hazed orange, amber pour with a white head. a fair bit of banana ester to the nose along with some orange peel and apricot fruitiness. A good malt and sugar sweetness and a lot of sugar. There is a lot of caramel and sugar sweetness to the palate, too. A fair amount of banana and tons of apricot fruit flavor. A definite alcohol presence, however.

Bottle. Looks pretty nice. Clear golden/amber color, some white, fluffy foam that disappears rather quickly. Smells sweet and some alcohol. Stretching my imagination a bit, I might have noticed some sour apple (yeah, right). Smooth on the palate. Flavors are malty sweetness and a little bit bitter in the end. Regrettably, also some less enjoyable alcohol flavor. Overall, a decent beer.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. (Notes says Motueka hops) It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a beige finger-thick size. The aroma is a bit sugary, with peach notes, fruit syrup and some peppery, spiced notes. It’s dry and well carbonated, with sweetness and a nice peppery touch. Peaches and bitterness too, finishing sweet, fruity and bitter. A bit on the sweet side I think, but tasteful anyway. 120511

Bottle from the school house. I liked the first Westoek and this just builds on the idea - more flavors and more complexity. Nice.

@ACBF 2011. Nice hops throughout the aroma and sip. I like this one better than the first!
