3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 douglas88 (4458) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark copper color with a large white head. A sweet fruity and peppery nose, some lemon zest. The flavor is interesting: dominated by spicy and sweet Belgian ale flavors, some light bitter hops and zesty citrus (mostly lemon). It works but isn’t quite as good as a IPA or Belgian Ale alone would be.

Oddly an aroma of coffee. Palate seems smoother than Westoek X. This one might be the better of the two.
