Hazy orange colour. Feels quite prickly and a little spicy. There some fruitiness there although itís not sweet. Some bitter orange peel citrus comes through in the finish.

Bottle from Star Grocery, Berkeley. Pours light copper with a disappearing beige head and fruity aroma. There is an earthy tripel flavor with caramel malt, carbonation and some banana ester. There is a dry slightly bitter finish.

Prokroustis (689) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - JAN 20, 2012
Clear amber body with a small white head. Aromatic hoppy and yeasty aroma with apricot, honey, quite floral overall. Smooth medium palate with little carbonation. Malty sweet flavour with strawberry, apricot, spices (notably clove). Nice, a bit on the sweet side.

Golden colur and longa lasting, white head. Floral, honey, citrus aroma. Subtly bitter, subtly sweet, subtly dry, fruity flavour. Not very different from the 6% version.

Bottle. Hazy orange hay color, with white head. Similar to tripel. Bread, light banana esters, Belgian yeast, light spice, and lightly floral. I am not digging this beer to much.

hophop (27) - SCOTLAND - DEC 13, 2011
Restrained nose, golden ale with good head. In the mouth way too much residual sugar. The overall impression is cloying. I used the majority of the bottle as stock in some soup.

oldrtybastrd (3222) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 11, 2011
Pours a orangish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice.

Bottle. Pours light orange/dirty blonde with white head. Nose/taste of lemon peel, dried citrus, light barley grains, bready malt and spicy hops. Well balanced. Medium body.

kramer (5063) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a large frothy white head, nice retention. Typical Belgian Blond nose, not wholly unlike Hopus with itís fresh floral hops. Supposedly just arrived at Kulminator, just released one week before I consumed it. Almost Tripel-ish in flavor, rather sweet and fruity with a moderate alcohol presence. Light floral hops, but only on the finish are they noticable. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation, lingering spice notes further remind me of a Tripel. Leans to the sweeter side overall. Nice beer, but not a great one.
