L’etichetta è un vero e proprio pugno nell’occhio, davvero orribile. Parliamo della birra comunque. Aroma dolce, con un accenno alcolico, speziato. Versata è ambrata con un mediocre cappello di schiuma abbastanza persistente. Al palato riemergono le note dolci affiancate da quella senzazione alcolica ed entrambe strutturate su un amaro luppolato e quasi resinoso. Nel finale perde colpi: forse un pò brusco e slavato. Resta comunque una piacevole bevuta.

33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a frothy off-white head with long duration. Aroma is spycy, caramel, yeasty and fruity. Flavour is sweet, good balanced, the alcohol percentage is not appreciable, yeast and citrus notes. The final is mild sweet with an alcoholic aftertaste. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high.

Yeasty citrus, spice and grape aromas. Murky pumpkin color, fine tan head. Taste is a much darker mix than the scent: candied dark fruit, boozey brown sugar, and a touch of salt. Thick, fluffy and filling. Too heavy to be a tripel, too sweet to be a sour. Nice, kind of unique ale.

Bottle 33 cl, The Old School. Pours deep dark amber with a good beige head leaving small laces. Aroma. Malty spicy sweet fruity caramel candi sugar peaches. Flavor is sweet fruity grapes apples malty spicy slightly yeasty and pleasantly bitter with some phenolic touch towards the end. Finishes fruity malty bitter pungent.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber to orange color with nice white head. Aroma is wheat, malt, hint of alcohol and plums. Flavor is malt, alcohol, hint of some fruits and soap. Fruity alcohol aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber coloured beer with a nice, off-white head. Aroma has yeastiness alongside some citric aromas as well. Really fresh and inviting. No alcohol detected. Flavour is sweet, yeasty esters and again fresh citric appearances are detected. Still no alcholo, wich a really good thing. Some malty notes are surely detected, delivering some sweetness into the balance. I would defintely classify this a tripel, giving the colour and taste.. Very nice brew..

Draft at Churchkey. Hazy orange amber pour smallish head. Nose and flavor shine with notes of peach, plum, raisin, fig, bread, and hints of citrus fruit. Sweet but clean, not cloying. Pretty tasty stuff.

Tasted from the bottle, on 13/11/2012. Pours of hazy copper/brown color with a huge head. Aroma is mild and caramely sweet upfront, with hints of lollipops in the end. Taste is normal, with notes of dark fruits, caramel, hints of bread as well. Huge alcohol tone in the aftertaste. Neutral. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Typical all around for the style. Candy sugar, spice, some fruit in the aroma and flavor. A bit more bitterness than expected. Lots of booze, maybe a bit too much.
