Bottle from the school house. I liked the first Westoek and this just builds on the idea - more flavors and more complexity. Nice.

@ACBF 2011. Nice hops throughout the aroma and sip. I like this one better than the first!

Bottle at home (quite a gusher). Aroma is almost like a gueuze; acidic, funky, yeast, barnyard, light floral, quite nice, even though, probably not intensional. Taste is bitter sweet with fruity acidity, yeast, dry bitter ending, some tartness again and a slightly too harsh bitter aftertaste. Quite nice, almost worth the 15 min degassing and cleaning your ceiling… ;)

Large foamy white head over a golden hazy body. Nose is sour, with peach, orange and coriander with caramel malts. Light bodied with an oily texture. Sweet malts, light bitterness and alcohol taste in the finish, with dry sourness.

33cl bottle from Struise shop, Brügge. Pours clear rather pale golden with a very bubbely white head. Fairly yeasty and fruity aroma with funky notes, peaches, citrus and some slightly floral notes and hints of barnyard and brett. Moderate to medium sweet and surprisingly funky and acidic. Did kind of expect the more sweetish classic Belgian triple, but this is some really nice refreshing and tasty brew. Funky and delicious, but a bit too fizzy!

Muddy caramel pour. Aroma is mild tang. Taste is port quality, moderate sour, vanilla, lovely. Only big complaint - theres too much booze on taste. Decent stuff.

Gusher. Mooie geel oranje kleur met een grote kraag. Ruikt kruidig, beetje scherp, kruiden. Smaakt zoetzuur, beetje kruidig. Zoetzure afdronk. Beetje vlakke structuur. Mwa.

Hazy golden color, crazy carbonation, large firm head. A: wheaty sour, with citrus, sour candies, yellow bell pepper, yeast. T: starts sour, almost Geuze, with copper first taste. Moves towards a slightly wheaty sour taste with sour candy notes, gentle sugar note. Gentle bitterness. Medium to full body. Aftertaste is relatively sweet and fruity, sour apricot.

Zurig aroma. Krieken, pruimen, azijn. Smaken van donker fruit, passievrucht, banaan, perzik. Fruitige afdronk met klein zuurtje. Heerlijk bier.

Last bottle on the shelf. Gusher. Hazy golden with thick head. A blend between the yeasty and sweet touches of a tripel and the sourness, barnyard aroma of a gueuze. Very interesting.

05/08/2015 @home – 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck As advised by Urbain I opened the cooled bottle very slow, after 30 seconds more quickly, still a bit of gushing, however I managed to have 25cl in my glass. Hazy dark golden full of small particles with massive light tanned head. Fruits, malts, sweet, spices, and sourness .

On opening the bottle half of the beer escaped in a fountain of froth. Way too carbonated!! Also a metallic taste which may be associated with the overcarbonation. Not well brewed.
