Bottle. Aroma is mostly hoppy, light caramel. Hazy orangeish golden colour. Honeyish candi sweetness, moderate bitterness. Lemony hops flavour.

Golden body, white head. Nicely balanced as so many other struises. Very malty and caramelly. Some mellow citrussy hop aromas. Too sweet for me.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark amber pour with a white head. Tangerine, sweet spice and pear aroma. Barley sugar and sweet spice flavours. Long dry and fruity finish.

On tap at the excellent Struise beer shop in Brugge, Belgium last Christmas. A hazy golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Citrus fruit aroma. Tastes quite bitter, dry, citrus fruit. Rather hard work to be honest.

Slightly hazy pour with a large white head. Awesome spicy dough notes with lemon peel and banana abounding. The flavor holds more vibrant yeast notes, banana clove, citrus, and bread. Medium bodied palate with a doughy dry finish.

On tap 5 oz. sample at Pizza Paradiso in DuPont Circle, Washington, DC. Lightly hazy, golden straw color with small white head and no lacing. Aroma of berry fruit, apple, yeast and caramel. Taste of light citric hops, hay, spice and caramel with a mildly astringent finish. Medium body and low carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the Struise shop. Poured a nice looking hazy orange colour with a plump off white head which faded to a lingering medium size. Interesting aroma that was fragrant and earthy, with notes of candy, yeast, alcohol and tropical fruits. Flavour was along similar lines, with some hop presence that manifested itself more towards the finish. Quite an unusual brew that I warmed up to as the glass was drained.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 33cl bottle at home. Shared with Mathieu87. Appearance: amber clear beer, unstable off white head. Nose: caramel, malts, little sour, but mostly caramel. Taste: little sour, malts, lots of sugar. Not really an enjoyable beer... Struise can do way better than this!

Light sweet and medium sour malt aroma. Cloudy orange color with a medium of white head. Mild sweet beginning with a bright bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. Mild sour character with ripe fruits, lemon zest and some tripel-esque yeast. I’m not the biggest sour fan but this is smooth and drinkable.
