Bottle, 8%. Fruity aroma, seems sweet. Seemingly clear greyish amber colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is sweet and slightly spicy. Good chalky mouthfeel. The sweetness is balanced by a good alcohol level, but still a tad on the sweet side.

33cl bottle enjoyed at home after Man Utd beat Chelsea to all but win their record 19th championship. Funny I thought I had this at ACBF but obviously not. Clear orange amber colour with lasting white head. Well what am I expecting? Another highly drinkable beer I am guessing. Sweet sherbert and apricot aroma. Hop and apricot aroma. Enticing aroma. In terms of carbonation and mouthfeel it is all bar perfect. Yes more apricot flavour in the mouth. Some hop sting on the finish. A decent fruity Belgian strong with great mouthfeel. Almost in tripel country. Apricot fruit is pretty good. Opens up as you drink it. The mix of apricot jam and touches of honeyed syrup are extremely enticing. Touch of tangerine on the finish. As it went down the more I enjoyed it. The fruit really is immaculate. Overall I will remember this for the impressive apricot jammy flavour and huge drinkability in the mouth.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. (Notes says Motueka hops) It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a beige finger-thick size. The aroma is a bit sugary, with peach notes, fruit syrup and some peppery, spiced notes. It’s dry and well carbonated, with sweetness and a nice peppery touch. Peaches and bitterness too, finishing sweet, fruity and bitter. A bit on the sweet side I think, but tasteful anyway. 120511

Bottle, bought @ EG.
Nice clear coppery golden colour with an even nicer, creamy, slightly off-white head. Great duration and fine lacings. Aroma is vinious, fruity, banana, apricot, bready malts and light esters. Medium carbonation, fine creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely, good grassy hops on top of fairly crisp doughy malts. Fairly warming and with a firm bitterness in the finish. Nice.

On tap (from the Mobile Struise Beer Dispenser!) at CBC. Hazy amber beer, good cream coloured head. Palate is smooth, a little dry and has a creamy feel. Fresh malts - somwhat tripel like with noticeable spice. Nice caramel and orange - peach. Finish is quite dry.

At Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Hazy dark golden with a lasting white head. Weak grainy, grassy and herbal aroma. Sweetish fruity flavour with a sugary note, and lenty alcohol
