Bottle thanks to daknole. Pours nearly black with a nice pillow of off-white head that fades to a film and leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted malts. Taste is spectacular overall. Great balanced of smoke, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts without being too strong. Definitely straddles the line between stout and porter, but still lands on the lighter side.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours deep brown with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma and flavor are roasted malt, a touch of smoke, some coffee. Moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium palate. I didn’t expect much of this given how disappointed I’ve been with other Weston beers. This is a solid porter, though. Quite tasty.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A solid porter with no unnecessary bells or whistles. Initial aroma is quite smoky, giving way to roasted coffee and chocolate. Taste is similar with less smoke. Good stuff!

Bottle pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasty malt, burnt coffee, a little chocolate. Flavor is is much the same with roast malt, dark chocolate, and a little caramel malt coming through. Lingering bitter finish. Another good one from this brewery that struggled a few years ago.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep chocolaty brown, barely translucent at the edges, with a fairly thick light tan head. Smoky aroma has notes of chocolate, roast malt and caramel. Satisfying flavor has a roast malt core plus notes of chocolate and caramel and hints of molasses and hops. Smooth texture has decent body and good fizz.

Pour is a dark black with a little light shining through. Aroma is very nice. Nice roasted malt with chocolate and a touch of coffee. Flavor is about the same but not as eye opening. A nice roasted malt hits you then some black licorice and finishes a bit watery. This was a well made porter from a brewer I’ve not enjoyed too much from.
