UPDATED: FEB 1, 2013 These guys have had a rough history, but they knocked this one out of the park! Pours dark brown, with a medium tan head. Smells heavily of coffee with hints of dark chocolate. Good full mouth feel with subtle hints of smoke. Finishes dry and almost grassy, in a lingering smoky way.
This is my new favorite Porter!!

Good aroma. Love the coffee flavor this has and comes out more as time goes on. Finishes off nicely.

Bottle thanks to daknole. Pours nearly black with a nice pillow of off-white head that fades to a film and leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted malts. Taste is spectacular overall. Great balanced of smoke, chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts without being too strong. Definitely straddles the line between stout and porter, but still lands on the lighter side.

The beer pours a dark brown-red color with an off-white head. The aroma has a lot of chocolate and toffee. The flavor is similar. I get some cocoa and nuts, as well as some toasted malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A solid porter with no unnecessary bells or whistles. Initial aroma is quite smoky, giving way to roasted coffee and chocolate. Taste is similar with less smoke. Good stuff!

Pours a deep chocolaty brown, barely translucent at the edges, with a fairly thick light tan head. Smoky aroma has notes of chocolate, roast malt and caramel. Satisfying flavor has a roast malt core plus notes of chocolate and caramel and hints of molasses and hops. Smooth texture has decent body and good fizz.

It poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was dark fruit, coffee, chocolate and toffee. The taste was chocolate, coffee, some burnt toast, another dark fruit (maybe dates) and a grassy dry finish. Very good Porter.

On tap at the brewery. Comes dark brown with a small thick tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and caramel. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and caramel. Hints of hops and smoke. Well done!

(22oz bomber thanks to mora2000) clear medium brown, soapy tan bubbles. Nose of home, milk chocolate, malt balls, cream. Taste of cream, milk chocolate, lightly nutty, almond, medium body, creamy nutty linger.
