3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours an orange color with white head. Peppery aroma with some malty sweet aromas in the background. Malty backbone, but peppers dominate the flavor. I’m not a big pepper ale fan, so my ratings tend to be low. This is a beer within the pepper ale style that I can handle. Nice peppery/hot/spicy flavor, but not overdone, with some malty sweetness lingering in the background.

Can. Clear yellow with a thin white head. Big jalapeño/green pepper aroma with white bread and hay in the background. Taste is dry and bready with a mild peppery finish. Body is light with a fizzy feel. Mild pepper ale.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours golden/amber with minimal head. Smells like jalapeños. It's spicy, but not overpoweringly so. Strong notes of jalapeño and Serrano. I love these flavors, so I think it's pretty good.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Wow! Not sure if that’s good or bad but the originality here is impeccable. It has your run of the mill golden pour w/ a thin white head & no lacing. The aroma is robust w/ pepper! The taste is dominated by the pepper but as it warms becomes more beer like. Interesting to say the least!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
The key to this beer, I’ve found, is drinking it while or after you have eaten something pretty spicy. It is really really good under those circumstances, otherwise its really horrific. I’ve never experienced a beer quite like this one, and that’s a good thing!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep golden hue. Another Weston with a weak head and over-carbonation. Aroma of heavy green pepper. Tastes of jalapeno. Hell, this actually is drinkable, but you must like hot pepper heat, and I do. I wouldn’t say it’s *impressive* - I’ve yet to be remotely impressed by Weston Brewing Company - but this isn’t so bad.

12 oz bottle. From a trade with deyholla. Thanks!
Cloudy orange amber colour with no head.
Malt and fresh green pepper and jalapeño in the aroma.
Sweet malt, mild bitter hops and jalapeño in the flavour. Spicy. Warms a bit. Chili burn stays.

Poured from bottle at LH2. Orange color with thin white head. Spicy habenero aroma. Decent lager that has a spicy backbone. Drinkable but not more than one

Not a giant fan of this beer. I don’t mind the heat, which is considerable, but there needed to be more malty sweetness to balance this out. Tried it when it was still called the Brew Lab Hot Pepper Ale.
